Not as good as I expected/hoped but not terrible. All our home games at the MCG except Brisbane i can handle. At least we don't play a home game at Etihad vs an Etihad tenant which seems to happen every year. But our double ups aren't great. GWS will win the minor premiership and are the worst top 6 option. St Kilda aren't a great middle six option. Of the bottom six, Freo is probably the one I least wanted us to get but happy with Blues and Lions.

Seems we're travelling too much though. Six interstate plus Geelong and we only host 5 interstate teams. You'd think they would at least balance interstate trips with games hosting interstate teams....and then to add a trip to Geelong as well is ****ed.

6 interstate trips plus geelong, looks like a downgrade on the home and away membership to only a home membership for me.

And looking at the friday night games, potential for lots of blowouts.

Carlton and Essendon are the obvious ones, both have got nowhere near our crowds lately but lets be honest Fitzpatrick aint gonna send carlspoon down there

When you find out we have no Friday night matches and are the only club out of Hawthorn, Essendon, Carlton and the Pies to play in Geelong.

But then you realise we have a soft serve draw - playing Carlton, Brisbane, Freo and Saints twice.

RICHMOND SNUBBED

Richmond's favourable line-up on the field will come at a cost to the club's coffers with the Tigers receiving only two Thursday night games. They are in Rounds 1 and 2.

Richmond will not feature in a single Friday night game next year. Fremantle received zero as well.

It is a major change from last season when the Tigers were given eight Thursday and Friday night games in total.

The league today said the fixture rewards teams' strong on-field performance and would not hand-out prime time blockbusters to traditional powerhouse Melbourne clubs based on the size of their fan bases.

p!ssed off about playing in Geelong. we can thank all of those who can turn up to games but chose not to late in the year! it cost us our main argument for not playing there.... now those who want to go can't get a seat....

As a Richmond fan who lives in Brisbane, the first thing I look at is if we play up here in SE QLD.

Woohhoo - play both the Lions and Suns. 2 games without having to travel. Great result for is Tiger Fans up north.

Saints twice is going to be the silent dream add on to our soft draw, don't get sucked in by their 9th place finish, in 2016 they only had 5 games against teams who were in the top 6 at the time of playing them and one of those was in round 2 ( lowest of any club ) and overall had the lowest amount of games against teams who were in the top 8 at the time of playing them with 8.
