We've played more Round 1 away games than any other team in the league since the turn of the century, as well as more interstate games than any other Victorian team. So really, we are well and truly due a favour here, not that it will stop the flogs from claiming the league is somehow deliberately giving Essendon a leg-up. That's true. Wonder why this years GF didn't get to six figures though... certainly enough people wanted to go and couldn't get tickets. Do you think a lot of people bought tickets and then didn't show up? (Corporates?) Otherwise maybe there's OHS reasons for limiting capacity... *shrug*
