Today's fun fact: today's Gold Coast side had the exact same average age as ours against Collingwood. So we can look forward to flogging Hawthorn by 15 or so goals

In positive signs, both Carlton and Fremantle both won with 10 <50 games experience. If we had played Cunningham and Laidler we would have had 11, so very close to a win

There was a scoring error in that match, it says Fremantle won with 10 players <50 games and only 2 top 10 picks (1 in his 2nd game), but that isn't possible

Good effort from the Bulldogs to win yesterday. They had 9 players <50 games experience and 14 <100 games (the same as us). They also lost the free kick count, which apparently matters. Also missing Crameri, Wallis, Dickson, Redpath, Morris, Roughead.

Very late high impact front on contact to Cloke who was wide open in a marking contest and the only player going for the ball. Some evidence of elbow use and the fact that Ziebel is a dirty sniping dog who has history of sniping like this. There was nothing tough about this as far as I am concerned. The 6 weeks layoff (won't happen) is what the MRP will take into consideration. He should get multiple weeks though. How would we react if something similar happened to one of our players?

There mids don't run as deep but there have such good HB and there forward line is the best in the comp along with GWS

The most impressive thing about Adelaide is they're quite systematic. Their ball movement is great to watch and imo that's how the game should be played. But every team has their style of course.
