G.S Chappell is probably the best Australian batsman I’ve seen.
The only player to play those WSC Supertest Wars who’s average went higher.
Apparently those games will now be classed as First Class, and rightfully so.

GTFOOH, they are bloody international class, not a level down.
Maybe Cavaliers games could be considered first class at worst but the SuperTests and one dayers were as high a standard as it gets for those formats of the game.

Just watching 1995 Qual Final v Bear. What a team. Can't help but notice how big the Navy Blue bots look and how quickly the ball moved. Skill level elite. Mongrel, off the charts.
Our boys now are at least 5 years away from having the skill and presence to threaten the flag.
Hoping the development of these kids matches the list management. Also hoping I am wrong and they take off sooner.

Take into account DK’s record against World Elevens, and WSC, he’s near on 500 wickets at 23.
Check out the Bears youngsters too. Vossy and White. They were coming on. Was the most exciting final we played that series as far as other team giving us a decent game.
I reckon if we look deep enough into his past, bluebrew was the reason Jezza left too and cost us 4 flags in a row.

Absolutely. Great to watch the old dogs v the young pups coming on. Hard and fast footy that is great to watch. Shows me that you can't have to many big bodies and find a role: Brown, Clape, Hanna, Spalding, Rice et al.
Something tells me recruiting guys like Lang and Mullet might pay off. Someone like Bonar might be worth a punt too.
