Sam did a pretty darn good job before eh went down and I think he provides good depth. It probably didn't go unnoticed by levis management either.I'm pretty sure Levi is gone one way or another. With Rowe being offered a one year deal (as mentioned by Jon Ralph)Mckay developing and Patrick Kerr as well, there is no place for Rowe in our stacked backline so logically speaking somethings got to give.Jones,Marchbank,Plowman,Weits,Asos and MCreadie when required would be our core backline group, obviously not all at the same time but there is no room for Rowe down there.Just makes sense a big body up forward to help the younger guys.We also be a lot cheaper than Levi.
But at the end of the day there is now enormous KPP flexibility that sos has built and if you consider Rowe , Weitering , marchbank, McReadie, and Jones (dont laugh) as all capable of being swing men, then pretty much our KPP is setup for the next 5 years. Sure there is a lot of experimentation that needs to be done to work out the best combination, but I feel pretty confident that we can relax a bit when it comes to KPP's . That is a huge bonus, because it means we can concentrate on our greatest need MIDS.
