What are our thoughts on D.Swallow guys? Hasn't exactly blown me away this pre season and his injury record is shocking. Isn't going as well as Omeara and I'm starting to wonder whether he's a lock anymore...

Had him early on but he has Gaz, Barlow, Hall, Hanley, Touk to compete with so went JOM instead. Less competition for points and his good JLT performances sealed it.

That's irrelevant though. All the good midfields have depth. I'm more worried about his actual form and ability to get the footy at this stage.

Think he'll play to start the season. But has always been one of those players if he plays 1 or 2 quiet games coinciding with the Cats losing we drop him :/

Played well in JLT, don't know if he'll get as much midfield time in regular season, think he'll be swapping a bit with guys like Menegola, Cockatoo.

So yeah shaky JS.

Cheers, yeah, he has always seemed to last picked / first dropped.
If he did get a sustained run in the middle, you'd think 75-odd should be achievable.

Yeah I'm not 100% sold.
His disposal sucks
Got a lot of points tackling in his best year.. if he doesn't play exclusively inside mid then maybe won't get those bonus points
In saying that I don't think he could average less than 83ish and that would make him about $175k so will be a decent scoring guy that can make some money at the very least.
 
I missed Carlton's last game, what's the view on Cripps? He looked alright? Has a very soft draw to start with.

Hasn't played a full season in years and for his price range you wanna be locking in 22 game premos.

He is a depth player really, too good for the reserves but competing with too many other guys for the same role in the firsts. He will need to start strong to cement his spot, otherwise he will be rotated out in the same way as last year.

I actually think he could be a solid player, and with Caddy gone its one less person to compete with.
 
Trying to figure out who I want at m3 either jelwood, hanners or maybe even Parker at m4
 
Surprised to see so many people stacking their midfield with premo's. With the lack of rookies available this year it's very dangerous. They must have a lot of mid pricers up fwd and back.

Parker had an interrupted preseason and Hanners just doesn't excite me for whatever reason

If you're keen for some left-field options who should improve, I like the look of Ward, Titch and Steven

Got titch love the look of him, don't know if I trust ward or Steven enough but they're good suggestions that I haven't really thought about
 
Want to find a way to get the GOAT in my side. It just looks better with Ablett in there :'( But I don't want to get rid of any of the mid premos I have at the moment :(
