Andy Otten is our backup ruckman according to Rodney Eade on AFL Tonight. Obviously doesn't know who Jenkins is.

What a ******* idiot.

EDIT: And this oxygen waster was actually coaching AFL a few weeks ago. Doesn't even know the positions our blokes play. Wtf?

Maybe he has seen Jenkins ruck

Took vfl360 90 seconds to show a dangerfield clip tonight. Close to the record?
Who would have thought Danger would be hamming it up...

Kangaroos should play most of their home games in Tassie & can still play most away games in Melbourne.

E.g. Could play 4 away games outside Melbourne, 9 home Tassie games, 2 home Melbourne games, 7 Melbourne away games. Effectively have dual state memberships.

They had better stay out of politics.

'not sure to be honest Harry thinking of wearing a wetsuit with scuba gear - diver geddit''
' sounds funny as Paddy see ya there''
' yeah sure harry see ya - Mardi get me some ham''

And he coached the Suns. This year.

Exhibit A in the Royal Commission into "Why Isn't Rodney Eade Coaching Anymore?"

I think the hawks have killed it. theyve gone and built up a support base there in a popupation already too small to support an AFL team. A tassie team no longer has the whole state to draw support from.

With that said, I thought the same when Port entered in 1997.

One day Patrick Dangerfield is going to realise he is not funny. Watching his Mad Monday crap on AFL 360. There is not enough cringe in the World to cover this.
Talk about flogging a dead horse. The Harry Taylor ham thing was just odd.

Over there, they think it's up there with Who's on first, What's on second?

Aren't the AFL kicking the Hawks out of Tassie, clearing the path for the Roos?

I have no doubt that if Tassie had their own Tassie branded team, the whole state would get behind it. It'd be like, Hawks who?

I'd suggest that a lot of SA fans had a VFL side they followed prior to the Crows introduction. Once a Tassie team comes in, people will switch their allegiances pretty readily I would have thought.

Edit: Apologies. Just saw previous reply saying pretty much the same thing...

Tom Rockliff and Motlop apparently turn Port into a top 4 side !
It would actually make them pretty good.

Still need another forward though.

Wow, Luke Hodge seriously considering an offer from Brisbane (under a former Hawks person in Chris Fagan) to doing a 'Sam Mitchell' of 2017 i.e. playing 2018, coaching after that.

You'd think so but people have odd attachments.

This is one of my hobby horses but I'm constantly amazed by how many South Australian born and bred natives barrack for teams other than Adelaide or Port.

Sure, some may have followed a club prior to our entry but surely when YOUR CITY enters a team in a national competition then you support them. The pull of a suburb of Melbourne you've never been to can't be that strong surely?

And it's not just oldies who remember VFL. South Australian kids and 20 somethings often barrack for interstate clubs. Don't they feel any pride in where they live?
