Harts, Hurls, Ambo. Dea, McGrath, Baggers and McKenna

Play 6 or all 7? depends on the match ups I suppose but you really wanna settle the team down now.
Kelly and Myers are part of the defence rotation too (Myers is slowly getting more time up the ground though, being managed I think). Don't think there's room for 9, though (8 works with one bench and one midfield rotation).

I think if TBC was playing at his absolute best then he would be my preferred option. He'd offer more up forward, which would be useful when Daniher goes into the ruck. I feel as though Luey doesn't offer a great deal when he's not in the ruck.

Purely on the quality of ruck-work I'd rate Luey higher but I'd be willing to sacrifice a little in the ruck if TBC was capable of having a real impact up forward when he has the opportunity. However, I don't think it is advisable to play them both in the same team.

I'd prefer Leuenberger on what I've seen. He's a bit better in the ruck itself and I think he's better defensively on his direct opponent. Bellchambers I reckon is better up forward, better kick and better mark - however he doesn't normally get enough of the ball for it to really matter. Maybe I'm wrong and he'll bring his VFL form to AFL.

I definitely agree that we don't play both unless both are in red hot form and some of our key forwards are injured. Very few teams are running with 2 rucks this year and ours aren't so good that we should be the exception. Leuey is no good as a forward - he's ruck only and maybe like 10-20% forward.

We set up from deep in defence the same way. Time and time again. Kick to the boundary to a contest, lose the contest, ball goes back in etc.

Conceding 71 inside 50s while winning the clearances is ridiculous. These repeat entries are killing us

It's frustrating seeing this happen in multiple matches this season. We can all see it in the stands, would love to know what they are doing at training to work it out.

Having looked at Richmond (and basically most of the other teams we play), transition from the backline isn't a problem. It's basically expected for them to get the ball to at least the half way point. If they do turn the ball over, it usually happens at half forward or inside 50s.

For us, it's unnecessarily tedious. Almost as if it is within our gameplan to kick towards the boundary to a contest in hope that something different happens this time around.

"The Bombers coach was also concerned by his team's habit of conceding so many inside 50s, although he indicated the Tigers weren't quite as dominant as the stats would suggest.

"We could’ve lost by a fair bit more but we couldn't really either because the way their re-entries and inside 50s (were) coming, they're not coming from clearances or from moving the ball all the way down the ground," he explained.

"It was coming out and back in to a lot of numbers, so it makes it hard for (opposition) teams to score, but it's not the way we want to play …"

Think we go back to the three tall defenders structure this week. I'd drop Colyer and Green for Ambrose and Langford (with Dea playing as a genuine medium). GWS will be playing Patton, Cameron and Himmelberg, who will be the perfect player for Hurley to zone off of.

I hope people who are advocating for putting Hooker back, and for Stewart to be the 2nd KPF, watched Stewart's game last night.

Maybe he'll play better if there is one less tall and not so crowded? I think we should try it just for 1 week and see how it goes.

It'd be like when the Dogs played Jarrad Grant as a KPF. Stewart does not attack the ball in the air, whatsoever.

Stewart looks a better player then Grant imo.

That's not the point I'm making, the point I'm making is that there is nothing about Stewart's game that could translate into being a component 2nd KPF IMO.
