Really? Ithought it would be near on impossible with Crows wanting to keep him, seems very happy over there from an outside perspective. Also gets to learn from the master in Betts. Why would he want to come to Brisbane as he could probably have any team he wants l reckon?

What do we think it would take to get him? Ports pick?

I'm going to put it at 85% likely at this point that Cameron will be a Lion next year.

Right there with you. At this stage, I'd be pretty surprised if he wasn't a Lion next year. Heat in all directions.

Cameron is contracted but based on that how could we possibly consider ports pick fair value.

I still expect ports pick to get better maybe 10. Ballenden seems to be sliding below the 10-15 range so I see no real incentive to trade ports pick we should get to use it and Cameron while a good player that I would like at the club isn't worth the same as Mitchell even if he is contracted

Other options for pick 1 if possible. To the giants for Josh Kelly or to the Bombers for Darcy Parish and their 2nd rounder.

I'd give a pick around the 11-15 mark for Cameron without much issue (especially since he is contracted).

I think giving up 1 for Parish & pick 24 makes a lot of sense.
However that leaves us with pick 14 or 18 to get Ballenden, which wouldn't be enough?

It doesn't work like that.. depending on where he is bid on you can use 14 or 18 or both on a player that is bid at 5 or 10 etc.
For eg. If a club bids p5 on Ballenden for eg. That equates to 1503 points once the discount is calculated. P14 is 1161 and P18 985 =2146 ; so an excess of 643 point which would mean around P30. So basically you turn 14 & 18 into Ballenden and 30

Wow the Charlie Cameron talk suddenly ramped up. Would be huge gain for our club. Just the kind of player we need outside speed and class. Would be happy to part with pick up 18 for him. Being a Lions supporter i won't get my hopes up for now.

Don't necessarily think we need to build around him, but he would give harris great support. He could mentor harris and take the best defender. Unfortunately I think he'll be a sun next year
