Would prefer Hodge in a mitchell like role at the Lions

Hodge or Burgoyne would be great in a 1 year play/2 year coach deal and we do have a coach that knows these boys. If forced to choose I would go with Burgoyne, he seems to be holding his form better than Hodge.

Burgoyne's inabiliy to age is striking. Neither are coming north though.

We are already the youngest team in the competition by far, one veteran up here to help balance it isn't going to ruin our age profile. At some point we need to move forward, we are clear bottom of the league by 2 games.

I know they were still living on the Gold Coast after lachie got drafted to freo not sure about where they are now tho, Ross loves lachie so couldn't freo letting him go or him wanting to leave

Will the lions be likely to focus most of the allowance increase on maintaining their list, or will they be likely to splash mega bucks on a Martin type player?

He's not a patch member, and if he ever entertained the notion, I figure it would be when his footy career was over.

Draft wise, my hunch is that your club will also maintain it's current path.
