Possible ins.

1st round pick, Port pick, 2nd round pick, Pies 3rd round pick (~44) (assume one of those 4 goes for Ballenden). Upgrade Barrett?

Remembering that you now need 'live picks' to cover academy matching. So we need to be careful about how many players we add and how we trade. I'd assume we'd be loathe to enter the draft without a pick in the 20's to use to match Ballenden. We also would probably want the insurance of having Pick 44 live just in case he really slides on draft night. Also depending on any speculatoin in this thread if we were to chase a Roberton or Whitecross or trade for Cameron that would change the dynamic.

IMO having the option of 'buying out' one of those players would greatly add to flexibility in responding to any of those circumstances.

I believe that you can delist a contracted player and if noone else recruits them put them on your rookie list. On the rookie list they can be paid their old salary still fully counted within the cap. This could be an option for one of the players.

I love that show! I can watch it for hours. Foxtel has the whole series, almost everyweek after work I'll watch at least a few episodes.

Anyway, great to hear about Robbo re-signing. As lions supporters, i think just about no other fans in the world appreciate a player re-signing with their club more than us.

Paps struggling with ongoing injury issues that are limiting him. Am keen on resigning Harwood as small forward

Great news. Is the most improved in our side this season and I suspect he will get more responsibilities in the future. I could see him playing midfield minutes once he starts to get accustomed to the speed of the game. Has the size and will for it.
