Fagan works by the same unwritten rules as every other coach and every other list manager. They talk to any possible trade targets. They all know they do, because they all know how the system works in reality.

The outrage from Adelaide is just for form's sake to calm some of the more excitable Crows fans I would suggest.

The word coming out of Adelaide is that Charlies manager came to the club looking for a contract extension and increase in pay, as he was signed up on minimal coin due to him coming off the rookie list at the time. The club said no, thry didnt want to pay him more next year, so his manager is trying to pressure the club with talks of a move.

I wonder if schache wants to leave if we could pry carltons first rounder off them if they have it. Could have 2 picks inside the first 3.

If Cameron wasn't contracted his value would be pick 30 or so.

I'm not sure what the contracted premium is but pick 18 is overs.

Agree, he is a mid to late 2nd rounder I believe. Surely hitting the draft with that pick(18) will be better long term if it came to that.
I back Cox in to deliver more than what Cameron can deliver.

Yup. Mid ot late 2nd rounder IMO. No way should we be paying Ports pick or our second for him. He's quick and exciting when goes for a run but other than that he doesn't really offer much. Even his tackle count is low for someone who is agile and fast enough to catch anyone in the game.

The problem is that Port hold the power. If they don't like the pick then they can hold onto him for another season. Agree pick 18 is overs but they will probably ask for our 2nd rounder and l don't think we have anything after that

Assuming you mean the Crows.

We can always trade back into the 20s.

Thirty is incredibly generousB.D, hes nowhere near the talent of Higgins,Spargo and a few others in that category. I think it would be a terriblewaste to take him in advanc6of what else is available. He was shocking tonight under any sort of pressure, and has minimal runs on the board.Too much else offering to throw away a pick.I notice Spargo h
