Adelaide @ 375 k per season for two years ......whereas the Fremantle millionaires are offering $750k per season for five years .

Doesn't sound or look close at all .

So Freo would essentially have 3 undersized KPF's in their forward line in McCarthy, Kersten and McGovern. Definitely sounds like a Fremantle recruitment style.

Don't really mind Mitch going to the Dockers that much as long as Gov Sr doesn't end up entertaining the idea of moving across as well, so I would much prefer for him to stay at the Crows if he doesn't end up at the Eagles.

Probably a wishful thinking purple supporter!! I listen to 6PR every morning, and when they phone in with these rumours, they don't have to necessarily be substantiated. There are a few mischief makers out there.

Yes that will happen next season as a restricted free agent anyway , but more so if Mitch goes to Fremantle .

This news makes me very happy.

I think Matera could have been a half decent footballer however, he unfortunatly fell into a pot of FIGJAM at an early age and has never quite got all the sugar off himself.

I sort of think we're giving up the 2 best things in that trade.

Mountford seems like a high character guy who can't kick but can run his arse off. We've had heaps of them and it never ends well.

Andreson I don't know much about other than his pace and injuries...He seems to have been healthy this year. Why isn't he playing?

Mitch would be crazy to leave Adelaide and join Fremantle IMO. At least there's a possibility that he'll taste premiership success at Adelaide . I'm just annoyed that we took Lamb instead of him .

Adrian Barich just tweeted that Mitchell is retiring tomorrow.

So with Priddis, Mitchell & maybe the retirements of Butler, hill, Lecras, Giles etc, we do have the chance to do a mini clean out of sorts.

So if Masten did go- an extra pick may be useful this year.

It's weird- I was watching the draft tracker at the time of the draft and was convinced we were going Gov Jnr with our 2nd pick and was a little bit deflated at the time. Then we didn't and he went earlier than I thought and I was disappointed!

I'm not worried we missed out on Blakely as I'm not convinced he has the skills to be a full time midfielder but missing Gov Jnr is much worse IMO!

Also, Freo offering him that kind of $$$ is laughable, given he hasn't been exposed as a genuine KP- like Kersten & McCarthy, they are better supports to the main guy IMO.
