I'm sure this will excite a couple of blokes, then again plenty of others would have interviewed him by now too.
Think Rawlings will turn out to be a good list manager. Actually identified small forwards as a big weakness last year after not having one since Sampi :drunk:

We would have the same issues with Sinclair rucking. He used to lose us momentum when NN had a spell and good rucks bullied him. Vardy and Petrie are battlers that will do well at ground level.

Since when do contract renewals occur in season before expiry?

Sounds like sensationalism based on nothing.

Word on the grapevine is that Ezy will be playing for freo next year anyway. Haven't heard anything about Gov but Gov jr was always heading to Freo.
My mate at Wce told me he wouldn't be surprised to see wellingham at Freo next year.
They seem to be short of Hbf alw as Y's sending guys like shill snd Blakley back

you guys had the chance to pick Blakely but instead you went with um, what was his name again? I can't seem to remember because I've never seen him play a game.
Blakley would have been stuck in the wafl for 2 years because his kicking is terrible

Jetta went the following year, or maybe he went at 12. Whenever it was many people wanted him rookied tge tear prior to him being drafted in the first round.
people also thought we should have rookied dayle garlett

Many here wanted him in the rookie draft the year before Sydney took him at pick 7 in the ND.
Pretty sure he wasn't playing WAFL at any level that year. He returned to Swan Districts the pre season before he was drafted.

Correct. The year before he got drafted we could have picked him up as a rookie. That was 2008. He must have been on the radar as from memory he played in an eagle club intra match in the summer of 2009 the year he was drafted.

He played in that match because Brain Dawson recommended him. Dawson was the coach at Swan Districts and also a consultant at the Eagles at the time. He certainly didn't play league at Swans the year before and I think he spent most of the year down south (South BUnbury I think).

With priddis mitchell and others finishing. Could we have cap space to make a play for a a grader mid.

Not sure what point you are trying to make. The Eagles knew about him as did other clubs. 100% we could have had him has a rookie but we didnt. Did a Google and found this:

Bigger things have unfolded, but Jetta hasn't exactly come from nowhere. Two years ago, after an ordinary season for Swan District's under-19 team, he still did enough to earn an invitation to a state testing day in Perth.

Are you saying we knew nothing about him and therefore there was no possibility of drafting him as a rookie? Or trying to just argue for no reason?
