I like option 2 better.
Option 2 if i had to pick one.Norths saying they would trade pick 4 for the right return. They are rebuilding and one pick doesn't rebuild a list.
Should we trade Gaff and get say pick 8 + something from Saint Kilda how about this.
Option 1: Eagles trade 13 + 30 + 2018 2nd for Norths pick 4 and pick 44.
We then have picks 4, 8, 44 + 48 plus whatever else we get from Saint Kilda plus any other picks from trades.
Option 2: is Eagles trade Masten, 13 + 2018 2nd for Gold Coasts picks 19 + 24 + 37.
We then go to the draft with picks 8, 19, 24, 30, 37, 48 plus whatever else we get from Saint Kilda plus any other picks from trades.
I like option 2 better.

Something's just don't pass the sniff test. Hawthorn? The team without a first round pick. Yeah good luck getting gaff

To test you what do you think of Grian Miers for a later pick ?I've been watching a lot of the draftee vids over the last few days, I'm now an armchair expert!!
In all seriousness though, the guy I really like the look of so far is Higgins.
I'm a massive fan of proper footballers, Mark Murphy esq for mine.

Truth be told, I have not idea but I'll start looking tomorrow after workTo test you what do you think of Grian Miers for a later pick ?

It's always a much better draft .........Next year we would get band 1 for gaff. Probably between pick 6 and 16. Best guess of around pick 11.
It's a much better draft so I think it's pretty unlikely that the pick would be worse than pick 8 this year.
I think we would be silly to trade him for pick 8 unless he was desperate to leave.
If he did go I would want Acres in the deal.
It's always a much better draft .........
Last year it wasn't.
This is a dangerous game to play though considering it's the AFL and they can change the rules at the drop of a hat. If he genuinely wants to go and we can get something of fair value for him now then I think we should do a trade this year.Next year we would get band 1 for gaff. Probably between pick 6 and 16. He's probably not going to be a superstar but I think he's going to be a good midfielder who can contribute to our best 22 straight away.Acres is overrated in these parts

Truth be known it's hard to really know which crop is better.
Look at Worpel after last year he would of been touted a top 5 pick
Now is a chance to make it to the 2nd round
Thing's change quick............

We either trade in players or trade them out....We shouldnt be going through the draft, we should be trading our draft picks for solid players. Unless these draft picks come in and average 25 touches a game we shouldnt be doing this. If we do we wont achieve anything. Our best three players are going to be 30, 29 and 28 next year. What does this signals, these players may not be around when these draftees become stars and we are doing what richmond and bulldogs used to be good at and that is draft players who become stars when one half of the team is too old to play
Romantic, but we would probably draft Kyle Reimers before Yarran.rookie list chris yarran if he wants to play again. Would be low risk high reward if he can keep his head straight
