Not at AFL level for a few pre seasons but he will be great value forward until then. Goes in very strong and then is just beautifully balanced.

I admire the chutzpah. With Sam Walsh and now Stocker it looks like "high-character" picks are a big priority. I think it's a smart recruiting strategy especially with "Culture" being the new buzzword in thr media and Carlton's recent probs.

If the scum don't take Hill, I wonder if we try to tempt Adelaide with, say, our pick 34, future 2nd and pick 59 for their pick 24, future 2nd and pick 69. 34 might be a couple of picks too late to make that work.

Yeah fair enough. Carlton banging on about how good they are going to be annoys me way more than whatever the Crows fans do hence my position.

I was actively hoping for Hill, but Sturt (despite the high risk) is exciting. Certainly has a ceiling. Haven't give up hope of somehow getting iHill by using our 2019 2nd either.

I see bits of George Hewitt, Will Hayward, De Goey and Stephenson in him the way he plays.

I do get the Fritsch comparison. Wonder if Ross has the balls to play him deep like Stevo this year? Doubt he'd have the tank to be honest but the ideal player for it.

Good on them. Saw what they wanted and went and got him. Stocker is seriously impressive imo. There may not be another of his ilk available to them next year. In the meantime he and Walsh both will probably have a dozen or more games under their belts. Reckon Brissy were very astute grabbing Ely Smith too - earlier than many expected but I think he'll be a gun.
Question is, are we gonna show a bit of bravado tomorrow and do what it takes to get hold of Hill.... especially if the eagles pass him up with their first pick ????
