Rioli is draftable in 2020. You could understand if the club thought Hill was best available. He was considered a top 10 pick at the start of the year...

Is Stocker too slow and/or too similar to Graham? I would prefer a player with a bit of pace and inside/outside capabilities. Duursma and O'Halloran seem like good picks.

Have we been linked with any players leading up to the draft? In previous years (barring last) it seemed the player(s) we were drafting was pretty much public knowledge.

His highlights youtube video shows he is quite quick out of stoppages ala....Dusty...

Hill has actually said that he prefers to go interstate and he wants to play against his cousins. If he's at our first pick I'm almost certain we will take him.

We need an inside mid so therefore we are drafting 4 inside mids with our picks....

Well, surely AFL HQ have okayed this, via Mav and RFC's proactive due diligence AFL confirmation requests, within whatever the new rules are. If not Mav and RFC could look unnecessarily silly at minimum

Still risky as we may not get a slider at 28.

Will be a Cat B rookie. Signed to protect the draft kids in the VFL side and provide cover for the seniors. In that light not a bad idea.
