From Collingwood, Geelong Cats receive Sydney's third round selection (currently pick 51) in exchange for Carlton's fourth round selection (currently pick 59) and Gold Coast Suns' fourth round selection (currently pick 60).

For the sake of clarity, Geelong received the Suns' 2018 fourth round selection as part of the Gary Ablett trade. Collingwood received Sydney's third round selection as part of the Sam Murray trade (Collingwood gave up its 2018 second round selection to the Swans). Geelong received Carlton's 2018 fourth round selection as part of a trade by Carlton for Darcy Lang.
