GWS are proper broken this morning
I have had doubts about Cameron as coach for a while. I realise they have some serious outs but so did Geelong and so did we last week.

I reckon they missed an opportunity for a flag before their list has been diluted/equalised.

Too much trying to play on talent, not working hard both ways etc
Their gameplan seems pretty average to me (and always has).

Agreed, I've been skeptical of Cameron for a while too. As inflexible as we appear to be at times, the Giants appear be completely reliant on having on their best and brightest playing exactly the way they want to or else they can crumble.

Giant had tonnes of injuries last night but let's be honest, they still had a lot of talent in that side. Shiel, Ward, Coniglio, Taranto, Hopper, Himmelberg, Shaw, Griffen, Whitfield, Patton, Davis, Haynes is an excellent collection of talent which makes up more than half their 22 from last night. Good enough to be reaosnably expected to give better than the garbage we saw last night.

GWS losses probably hurt more given their lack of depth, but there's still 10-12 gun footballers that would make every side in the competition out there. A better coach would probably have gone back-to-back already. They just seem to me winning through their talent rather than a good structure.

Fortunately/unfortunately (depending on your perspective) their list is good enough to make the 8 even despite shitty coaching, so I don't see Cameron getting moved on anytime soon.

I think Mummy smashing opponents was a big part of their game plan.
Now without their aggression they are just a pretty footy team.

After a federerlike reign as no 1, Hodgey has been dislodged as my most hated player... enter Tom Hawkins. What a knob!
Yeah exactly. And all the talk of 'touching' the umpire. What about the 30 sec before that when he tried to rip the players head off with a composite push karate chop. What an utter tool

Patton is the most overrated forward in the game.

No idea why anyone thought West Coast would be a bottom four side

Any team with McGovern Hurn Yeo Gaff Shuey Naitanui LeCras and Kennedy will do damage, especially with the Perth factor.
