What’s the go with Barlow not playing any of the Trials?

Not sure but with Swallow , Bowes , Brodie , Lyon all play can see Dew manage Barlow and Rosa type . Barlow sometime can be very one dimension .

No. At this stage all I want is a good hard 4 quarter effort. That’s all I want all year actually.
Given how crap the Handbaggers were it would have taken a really poor effort to have lost.
That’s all I want on Sunday too. That there aren’t any quarters where we are slack.

It’ll be ages before I get stuck into Dew if ever.
Rocket I was very supportive of until quarter time of Round 1 last season where he became a dead man walking and after that I was relentless.

Evans on the other hand as an administrator is 100% open to scrutiny.

It looks like best 22 at the moment. Barlow a bit slow I would say Brodie/Bowes is our future we need to play them.

Yeah possibly, I don't anyone realistically thinks we are close to finals or anything, but were encouraged by stuff we saw that we haven't seen from our team in years, even if it is only 1 game.

Personally, if we are competitive this year and no 10+ goal losses I am happy with that. I suppose it will depend on the team Brisbane put out on Sunday as well. Should be a good day out for anyone that decides to go down!

He was asked about Lynch and then his contract and he said something like “ there will still be money left for THEM if Lynch signs on”

I think he'll be gone too. Hopefully, he plays well and get some Brownlow points so we can get a decent pick. I remember last time, it took him forever to extend. Will he be unrestricted free agent?

I too would like to know what the go is with Barlow? One thing we do struggle with is getting the ball, even last Sunday I believe we had far less disposals, and Micky is very good at that. Dew must have supreme faith in the available players and game plan to leave him out given our lack of experienced heads and shortcomings in this area. Surprised Thompson in ahead of Leslie to a degree as well. Unlucky? Thought Rory had a shithouse game last week. Doesn’t look good for Lonergan either. Not even a mention? Interesting times.

And no one start with this we need to play the kids crap. Its the start of the season their is still hope for enough wins to challenge the 8. For the sake of keeping lynch or even keeping supporters happy we need to win games. We cant stuff around and rush our talented kids in if their not ready it would do more harm then good. Blokes like powell, ballard, scrimshaw and even brodie, ainsworth and bowes need to be managed. So for this year YES rosa, barlow and rischa have a job to do and that is to protect these kids on the field when they do play.

I thought Leslie was a lot more disciplined. Rory gave away 4 sloppy free kicks. Agree Rory's speed might trouble Brown more than Leslie although Leslie's no slouch in that department either.
On JLT form, maybe between Brodie and Bowes. I liked the pressure Holman and Darcy brought. Hard one really. In Dew we trust!!!
