This game isnt very impressive. Missed the 1st half so maybe missed the good stuff. But worried about lynch hope he doesnt miss weeks for that bump. I suppose it isnt exactly good conditions to see a bi g difference in style.

Only saw the last half bodsy but they stayed in front and we saw more of that lock the ball down in front of goals. Brisbane did the same and being a wet day their were rarely any skillfull moments. I saw hall continue to sttack the footy and not back away from contests. Darcy mac impressed in the last qtr could be a good replacement for lemmens in rd1. Weller didnt get much ball but did show some composure and skill when he had it. Only negatives were j.martin with a tight hammy, hanley dislocating his shoulder and lynch collecting a bloke high with a bump similar to the robbie gray incident a few weeks back so very likely to be suspended for rd 1.

Fiorini, Weller and Bowes all looked good which is exciting. Bowes didn't miss a beat going down back in the 4th to fill in for Hanley I assume?
Neither Swallow or Maysie looked super rusty coming for their first hitouts. Swallow looked pretty lively up forward I thought, as did DMac.
Lyons was everywhere as usual.
94 tackles is good to see, although about par considering the conditions. Seemed to stick our tackles alot better then last year, even the kids.

Sucks about Hanley though. Hopefully the shoulder didn't take too many ligaments/muscles on its way out.

Just a slide but he obviously fell awkwardly
His time with us hasn't been the happiest poor sod
I've always wanted him up and about for his pace more than anything
