Why trade pick 1 and waste the chance of having two Charlie Curnows in the team,
After watching the replay again of the collingwood match. One thing became very clear to me. We need another Charlie Curnow.
CC lead up the ground. Took the link up mark, then nothing else after that. Yes McKay could be the stay at home, but adding Lukosius would mean Charlie doesnt have to continually lead 100+ metres to be our link man as much.
Whats better than 1 Charlie Curnow. 2!
Because u need someone to get the ball & someone else to kick it to them...Why trade pick 1 and waste the chance of having two Charlie Curnows in the team,

Pretty sure we have it. Kennedy and Dow. Cripps wont change his game no matter what. We will recruit and trade for mids, but if we finish last, expect to hear the best players named called outGetting Cripps the help he needs IMO.
Yeah I doubt any club is going to offer that to get Lukosius. As much as he's being touted as the next Nick Reiwoldt, there's still the chance he won't live up to it.

And that's ok you think like that. For me, at this stage of the reset, its best availableTBH, Id rather the best player for us at draft time, not who is apparently rated the best player.
Are you basing this on personal experience with Cam McCarthy??
Less of a mistake than Harley Bennell and what you gave up for that dudYet I hear SOS looking at a couple of GC recruits who aren’t getting game time. When do you think the penny will drop for SOS?
A case of those in glass houses right there for Freo fans.Less of a mistake than Harley Bennell and what you gave up for that dud
And cost us next to nothing.A case of those in glass houses right there for Freo fans.
At least the guys that SOS has picked up have not sprayed local football coaches or been in nightclub brawls, etc, etc
Maybe Will Brodie could be another addition to help Cripps, Kennedy, Dow etc.Getting Cripps the help he needs IMO.

High draft pick. Needed fitness and has been injured. Contracted another 2 years but anything is possible. Pick 9 in the 2016 draft

Brayshaw is a yes for me. But suspect he would cost a packet.I certainly wouldn't discount doing something like bringing him in. I would like us to make a big play for Angus Brayshaw who is OOC. Dahlhaus who is an RFA etc. Im not opposed to looking at Mitch McGovern as our third tall forward either.
I have been thinking since THAT kick in the pies game, could we use Jones as an attacking, outside mid?
He is woeful one on one as a defender but he is quick, is a good mark, can spoil and has a thumping kick.
In the midfield his errant kicking, no, his brain fades wouldn't be as deadly as they are when he kicks from deep in defence. If he is kicking from the wing, they would be kicks inside 50m, so at least if they are sprayed, it gives us a chance to defend it or crumb it.
Could be worth a try if Rowe takes his place at FB.
Jones goes ok. Gets caught out a lot but generally reads the play well. Hence a lot of intercept marks. Just needs a better cast around himOr we can just put him back in the VFL where he really belongs.
Certainly Bradshaw would be a good get.I certainly wouldn't discount doing something like bringing him in. I would like us to make a big play for Angus Brayshaw who is OOC. Dahlhaus who is an RFA etc. Im not opposed to looking at Mitch McGovern as our third tall forward either.

Im not interested in Dahl. We would need to offer him decent coin and a 3+ year contract. I suspect he would be passed within 2 years by our kids.
Mitch McGovern would be a good get. Id change my thoughts on Lukosius if we were bringing MM in. Id take a mid. But again, he is contracted. Adelaide would want the world for him. He is a 3rd banana. And is too in and out of games for my liking.
Brayshaw yes out of that lot. But i wouldn't want to pay higher than a late 1st or early 2nd. Not sure Melbourne would take that
