No you stick with "one of the worst players currently getting games in the AFL"

A 20 year old

How about you and I resume this end of next year

Christ what a backfire.

Conclusively proves my point though. Are there any statistically worse players to play 11 or more games this season?

You have made no points, ZERO

And now you want to add worst 11 games, interesting deflection, from worst player in the AFL. Here is a tip for you, do you think the worst players in the AFL are the ones that get drafted but never play a game?

Go check out Simpson's first 11 games

I don't do diplomatic, surely you should know that by now;)
Then you need to tell me who you would keep out of Polson and Pickett if you had the choice? You avoided by saying you would delist others.

I think the drafting of midfielders and using them forward is old school drafting. The Butler types are examples of this. We cant get Pickett to chase in a disciplined way. The role is important in today's game. GWS are an outlier...sooo much talent. Other clubs arent like GWS...more like the talent balance at Richmond.

Also, the example you used on Castagna/Butler etc in that they took years to show something is a weak argument. You and soapy keep quoting it but for every player you quote that took three years to show something... i can quote 20 players to your 1 that took up three years before delisting and showing nothing. That is Wayne Hughes territory if we are being honest.

List mgmt requires speed and quick appraisal and then moving on. Wayne Hughes was in this instance a slug!

False pickett was doing it last year remember the hawks game? He doesn't need discipline just needs a good run at injury and to be get a good go at running

Nice melt

You tried to be clever by comparing Castagna and Polson and inferring they were at similar levels in their second years, haphazardly pointing to the stats without actually checking.

Then when they were brought out it showed a clear separation and almost double the output from Castagna, reiterating my point.

Maybe...but right now the MC is choosing Polson's run over whatever Pickett offers. and when you consider Polson offers little it's a little alarming.

Blue, it would be like who would you keep out of Dow and Fisher, admittedly on a different scale. Why would I have to make a choice when you haven't included all the small forwards on our list

Might be old school drafting, but it still works, so remove GWS, Wingard, Gray etc etc. Like the perception you cant win a flag with 3 tall forwards

This is were I find it staggering. If a guy like Polson, was playing VFL for 2 years, like Butler, the development is of a similar nature level wise. Polson is playing at a level that others weren't.

Not melting at all, I find this entertaining

A clear separation? 5 games? interesting

How did you go with the Simpson 11 games? Or you are trying to avoid that one?

Different eras with different TOGs.

Far more instructive comparing like-for-like players from other teams.

Classic you trying to get me to do the research - again ;)
