So I rang the club (membership) and I do have options. One of them being I can on sell my ticket if I want.

So if anyone is interested in a seated 2019 season pm me. My seats are in the East stand almost dead centre.

The Libs have advised that they are moving to a 'full cost recovery model' for the Footy Express.

That means either a significant increase in member prices to cover the cost of the Footy Express, or the Footy Express to be no longer be included in your ticket.

It would suck to not include the AOFX buses for the masses, however as someone who buys a 28 day unlimited Adelaide Metro pass, it won't make a difference to me.

For an adult, it costs just under $80 for return trips on a Metrocard at full price (Sunday games would be cheaper).

Removing Footy Express services would have a massive detrimental effect - especially the trains and once services are further cut by Knoll

Maybe they could offset the cost of Footy Express by making a saving in financially supplementing Ports Shanghai game?

Keep the season ticket price the same (instead of the usual 5-10% increase) and people can pay for their own way to the game - walk, ride, drive or public transport. User pays, what a concept.

Well done Mr Marshall bout time someone thought to make a fairer system.

That may work to the game but would be a nightmare leaving.

The whole reason for not being user pay surely is for the free flowing movement.
Imagine if everyone was buying tickets when so many getting in at the same time.

Post game is impossible, even going to the game would be no good

So Footy Express will exist but it may result in increased ticket prices.

That was the worst press conference since Burton re collective minds

Why did they have to wait til now to negotiate for next season. Yes they couldn’t change the model mid year but why couldn’t they work in the forward planning behind the scenes.

I don't mind my membership prices supporting your game day transport comrade.

It’s $99 for an Adults 28 day pass on ur metro card. Unlimited travel for 28 days. It works out the cost of 28 Peak trips. So if you end up taking more than 28 trips those trips are free. So don’t know where the $80 is ur taliking about. If you are putting that much credit on fortnightly then it’s better for you to add a 28 day pass to your Metro Card

That’s 28 consecutive days though, which doesn’t work if you don’t use PT to get to/from work.

The $80 is if you use a Metrocard purely to get to/from 11 matches at peak prices.

He’s a regional MP with absolutely no clue on suburban public transport infrastructure - and it shows in this press conference.

Ahh so you are talking about getting to and from the footy. Yeh I catch train daily so I’m better off with the 28 day pass

$80 for the season, shit sorry mate, flick me your bsb and account number and I'll send it straight through. It's abhorrent that you should be expected to pay to get to the footy yourself.

Exactly this, not to mention the policing of it all.
It would be fairly easy to slip onto a train and not pay.
