Your feet smell. You need a shave. And your ears stick out like dog's balls.

Am I doin it right? :)
Geez, hitting me where it hurts.
Nothing wrong with it. Very similar to other sides. Conigilo is an interesting selection. Cash left ?
Only 8.9K. This is only my third year, so I'm relatively inexperienced, so I'm just looking to see where I can improve and if I've mad any errors.

Till the rookies start to firm, can't really set your starting structure. Waiting game.
In other news, not a massive Josh Gibson fan, but good on him for trying to get Tomic the Tank Engine to wake up to himself.

How will you deal w/ Ryder early bye? Or not a concern?
Bont, Cripps and Coniglio three you'll need to step back up to pay off, would be one too many for me. Maybe Birchall down to O'Shea or similar and go from Bont to TMitch(/ Danger if funds allow.)
Dahl interesting, haven't seen him in many sides and trailed off last year. If you go Bont > TMitch, maybe look at Greene instead (funds should work)?
Ignore if unhelpful, I'm no great shakes.

Was tossing up between getting rid of one of Danger, Titch or Dusty to free up some cash. Ended up going Dusty > Coniglio which afforded me the luxury of going on a little shopping spree.

Very happy with my midfield and forward line now.

Nice side and you've got some higher priced rookies, too, so you've hopefully got flexibility if you need to tweak :thumbsu:
If the ruck combo works out, you're laughing with the cash it frees up.
Hadn't considered Starlow / McLean much, their selection% will be interesting.
Like LMac.
Beams has hurt me one too many times, tho, we've consciously decoupled. :(

I'd be dropping Harry McKay. He looks to have bulked up and most Blues supporters will be hoping he plays at least 10 games, but I doubt he's going to be much of a points earner and at $200k+, there's gotta be better options.

On a more general note, I'm having trouble getting the player list to show on the right-hand side on PC. It just won't populate, which means I can't make any selections. Anyone else have this problem? Could it be my https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades ;) or something? Haven't tried turning it off yet. On my mobile I can get the list of players, but can't select any. Is it officially open to select teams yet? If not, how are you guys putting your teams together?
I'm feeling like a n00b

EDIT: If I hit auto-fill, it fills my team (very poorly obviously).
happened to me too on my mac when using safari. Tried with firefox and it opened. Yesterday I upgraded my mac and now safari is working too.

No Danger could be dangerous. He's usually outta the blocks hard early in the year.
Before spending absolute top dollar I am hoping that Danger is the one that plays a little more forward (60/40) early in the season and the Ablett addition will cause a price drop early in the year before they settle into a rhythm
I am betting on Ablett more mid time than expected so he is not having to mark the ball on the lead above his head as often as if he was playing 60/40 forward/mid

big big gamble though

Yeah, reasonably sound logic though. I have doubts over GAZ’s durability though. But it will pay off big time if it works.

Hey all. My version 1.0 for 2018.

FWD - Thinking of putting in Witherden for Yeo or possibly finding extra cash and replacing McGrath
MID - Pretty happy with my premo's this year. Last year i said that im going with new and upcoming younger guys for my Premo MIDS. Hence Tich, Oliver, Zerret. I'd like to get Ross in also. I think Beams is going to have an explosive year this year.
RUCK - Not 100% on Martin as Ruck choice in 2018. I stuck by him for all of 2017 and i was happy with his output but if Smith plays more this year I'd have to let him go. NicNat is a worry for me also. Gawn looks strong but i think the POD this year is going to be Ruck choices.
FWD - Happy with my 3 Premo selection. Billings would be nice but he seems to be in everyone's first few versions. Rayner is an expensive rookie but if he plays round 1 he'll make some good coin which i think he will as i think he'll fill Rocky's boots.

Rookies obviously are all subject to change.

Thoughts on this?$93K left in the bank at the moment. I'm thinking there might be a touch of mid price madness here but I'm reasonably comfortable with my mid price choices. Will run through those choices below.

upload_2018-1-31_12-27-19.png

McDonald - I'm expecting him to be rotating through the midfield this year and having a breakout year. Averaged 83.9 last year but expecting him to average into the mid 90s this year.

Burton - expecting him to get more midfield time and improve to a 90+ average.

Hanley - see Burton comment.

Coniglio and Redden - expecting big things from both this year, should both push towards 100 average.

Petracca - expecting a real breakout SC year from him

Stringer - bit of a gamble but have a feeling he will settle into Essendon* "culture"

Make Redden Jaegar and upgrade stringer imo

Rucks are such a spoil of "who knows?" this year.
