Wasn't there an article stating he might play last game of the JLT series. Guessing that is his test for round 1 starter or not.

Thanks Toxic, is it foolish to consider Heater instead of Burton? No one else in the price range excites me, less than 20k left.
Tempted, but had him all last year and burnt badly.

Some are keen on heater based on gws injuries.
I personally am not.

Lots of midfield scoring power which will keep me in the chase early. Rd 12 bye is a bit problematical. Would prefer to have one less keeper for rd 12 and one more for 13. Like Wood and McLean as POD's at the moment.

Easton Wood is a great defender, one of my favorite players to watch, but he's never been SC relevant.

Yeah I'm basing this on Naitanui not playing round 1. I don't believe the club when they say he will play JLT. If Naitanui is named for round 1 I probably won't pick Lycett. No guarantees Lycett remains ahead of Vardy.

Before spending absolute top dollar I am hoping that Danger is the one that plays a little more forward (60/40) early in the season and the Ablett addition will cause a price drop early in the year before they settle into a rhythm
I am betting on Ablett more mid time than expected so he is not having to mark the ball on the lead above his head as often as if he was playing 60/40 forward/mid

Just pick Gaz in Dangers place.

He's twice the player anyway. The SC Gods will sort out the rest.

It's still very early but you have a solid base and great structure to work on.
