I'm also a fan of having a bit of cash left over. Do you rate L McDonald? Similar price to Burto but with a bit more certainty over his role. A few Hawks track watchers have said Burto has been playing everywhere in match sims

I'd say the forward line is the most interesting/biggest differentor this year.
DEF premos going down choices are limited (although the ~400-450k range of 2-4 year players is going to be fun to see play out)
MID value options are obvious, then its just making a danger/no danger call and filling out with premos.
RUC gawn is an auto lock, then its down to nic nat v kreuzer v ryder v jacobs v lycett
FWD though...
Heeney + Higgins seem a lock for most (F1 and F5/F6)
Then it's people picking between:

Nice defence - Hanley at D3 is a risk, would prefer to see a McDonald/Wilson/Ellis there for more stability.
Midfield, i feel you have gone 1 too many Premos in the middle - drop one of Martin/Mitchell/Kelly to a rookie (Brodie/Lovell)
That then allows you to get rid of NN, who is not yet jumping and in serious doubt for Round 1 for a ruck who will play.
Also, with the left over money, you can upgrade Boak to a more secure player who will average 95+ (Barlow/Walters/Dixon etc)

defence is decent
midfield - Heeney and Dahl should be picked as forwards - get another big name in there, lacking scoring power in there.
Ruck - Hickey doesn't seem to be the first choice ruck for you guys, so get rid of him.
Fwd - drop Buddy, Gray and Crozier and move Heeney/Dahl up forward and get Christensen - downgrade McCartin to Venables/Rioli/Ryan/J Dawson

You can always find cheaper players .... but you need some super reliable premiums and fallen ( injury) premiums .....remember you want 2-3 potential (C) options & 10-12 keepers in your side
