Second ruck does my head in.

I don't like any of them.

Paddy Ryder has been in my team for the last few weeks, but i can't justify him in my side at his massive price and no plan for his bye. Jacobs, Martin and Goldy have been thereabouts. Grundy is great apart from Cox. I quite like Nank, but Ryder to Nank doesn't give me any $ to improve my team.

I'm going Lycett. He's cheap! He just needs to get through the first half of the season. I've always liked Lycett. Good Port Magpies boy. He's a free agent at the end of the year so will be looking to earn some nice bids from other teams. He had some tough opponents in the pre-season. The start to his season looks pretty easy. If he breaks.. he breaks.

Great post. My side looks great with Lycett in it. If he goes 80-90 ave I am sitting pretty.

A lot of people call me rank...but seriously Lycett averaging 80 - 90..c'mon.
Perhaps for the 3 games he actually plays as sole ruck and he nails it... but even that's a stretch IMO...good luck if that's how you go..a brave call I reckon....well Dah obviously...

My R2 spot s still doing my head in, atm my thinking is if A.Smith isnt named in round 1 then ill jump on the big stiffy.

Edit: i've left my self open for a joke here 'it wouldnt be the first big stiffy you've jumped on bazza'

If he didn't play any JLT i HIGHLY doubt he will play round 1 or any early games for that matter......if they wanted to start Smith they would have played him during JLT since he is a fringe player.

Lets bloody hope so mate, so there was no injury fitness issue with Archie does anyone know? youd think in the jlt with the extended bench then they'd atleast play him if hes fit.

The fact he didn't play is GOOD! It's clear they want Martin doing most of the work and if they were gonna change that he would have played. IIRC Archie played in a few or 1 of the JLT's with Stef last year (pretty sure was the last one which made ppl not pick Stef)...but the fact he hasn't this year is good! If they smart they play Martin solo, Martin solo ruck = lock for me.

I started Martin as a POD last year and it was a move that contributed to my amazing start (reaching 202nd by round 5 in my first year at SC). So unless Archie is named which im 99% sure he won't be, Martin is a lock for me again.
