It's interesting, i put up the same argument as you for starting Robbie Gray in Round 1, even though he's suspended ......most said that even having a playing rookie wouldn't justify his selection .....but the same posters are talking about the same situation with R3 coverage ?

I'm perplexed over the consistency of that argument ? ......what about those who decide to keep Danger in their side, even with the prospect of him not playing ???

Tell me which R3 you think will play the most games this year, that's it. Leave Dangercrab and Gray out of it.

At his age (not even 20 yo) & with Sandi likely in his last year ......It's not the worse situation to play a 19yo Ruckman in the WAFL another year

Darcy is probably a better forward, tackles very well and has a pretty good ground game for a ruck

Sandi you just block out of the high contest and you're all good

Sandi guaranteed to miss ~4 games through injury, and ~2 games through resting.
People forget Freo and WC travel thousands of kilometres every 2nd week, Sandi is 35 years old, we have a competent young back-up, and we're not going to make finals. Makes no sense to pick Sandi and expect not to need to trade him out.

Freo are stating they will run one ruckman each game, Sandilands could have 14 games off this season, but Freo have stated one ruckman per game. That is all I stated.

I've got English sitting there at the moment.
Really is a toss of the coin between him and Cameron.
Cameron sat at R3 all last year for me so thought I'd give English a shot this year :)
 
I'm choosing Cameron because I think there's more opportunity for him to play more games and also score better

Dogs:
Roughy - can play main ruck
Trengove - can play main ruck
Campbell - can play main ruck
Boyd - can't play main ruck
English

Swans:
Sinclair - can play main ruck
Towers - can't play main ruck
Reid - can't play main ruck
Aliir - can't play main ruck
Cameron

No doubt! i'm just saying that I think Darcy will start a big chunk of the season, at least as solo ruck when Sandi is injured/rested! :)

It was probably best that i actually know what the players in my team look like :$ .....albeit, he won't be doing much this year, apart from getting splinters

Stephenson might go ok I reckon. Seems like a good decision maker and knows how to kick inside 50 which is a skill we don't have a lot of. Fastest player at the Pies too so should break a few lines. I wouldn't sleep at night with Lycett at R2.
