Sloane will play deep into his 30s so I'm with you in that he would be worth it and would take pressure off the other mids

True. I guess this should be our “worst case” fall back plan. I still don’t think Thomas goes top 10 but we have to get Thomas plus something this year.

De Goey will be worth chasing! He had come back this year since his suspension and is having an influence. I think the pies won’t have huge amount of cap space because of the amount of $$$ they are paying Grundy, Treloar, Adams, Pendleton ect.

We should be up to our eyeballs in Gaff as well. He is one of the most damaging outside players in the comp.

Ahern had done a successive ACL and that was under a salary cap squeeze. You're right though it's not impossible. Setterfield is an academy player though which I think GWS will hold onto tighter.
