That's cool, but the club wouldn't do it.

As mentioned before then maybe that is the problem, As an opposition supporter if i had a choice between the 2 players as as obvious as day light which i would take and by a fair margin.

Hope SPS works out to be a fine player but very under whelmed with him so far and being a Richmond supporter he is reminds be a bit like a former #4 we selected ahead of a player that will become a legend of the game.

Really wouldnt want Connor to leave, I like his ability to run and carry
nearly there why would we let him go

It'd probably be more because he wanted to leave.

Much as we'd like to keep him, the fact is that even though we have a fair few injuries, he's still not getting a game....That would tend to lead players to look elsewhere.

He's also at an age where if he's not getting a game, his value will start to decline rapidly, both for the club and for the player himself (in another year or two, other clubs will be less interested), so unless he's confident things will improve at Richmond, he'd be smart to at least test the waters.

Not interested in clubs having an interest in Menadue as im not wanting to sell - He is not for sale

Club is im sure letting menadue know exactly where he is at and what he needs to do to get to the level thats required and if he goes to another club there would be no guarantee he would be any better if anything he will be worse due to having inferior players playing with him and not having as much freedom so will get exposed.

Menadue came to the club at only 63kgs and 187cm , He was 4 years away at best and thats exactly what the club said at the time but is now 80kgs and almost there probably has another 5kgs more to go and is developing perfectly, He is now getting mid 20's at VFL level and this will translate to AFL

He will be ready next year and will get more games next year and will be ready to go and wont look back.
Jayden Short is 22 and is now ready this year and Connor Menadue is only 21 and tracking fine.

Want to, no, but good list management means cutting lose the players who are more value to the club in trades, and it follows that such players much have some ability, otherwise other clubs wouldn't want them anyway. The good/bad thing about being at the top with decent depth is that we get to 'recycle' the good/ordinary types into decent draft picks, and if we do it well, we can keep the good times rolling far longer.

Currently he's of little value to the club (3-4 injured mids and still can't get a game means he's well back in the queue), so it wouldn't take too much to provide a trade we should take.

About right but Richmond would probably prefer to advance one of their current picks. Don't really have a need for more lower end picks.

Problem here is Richmond don't have a 3rd round pick. If they did it would be easy, Miles and your third for Brisbanes third.

Ahhhh draftin Tambling ahead of Franklin.

These are the Richmond discussions we prefer over the ones we're putting up with these days.:D

GCS should go full rebuild using this super draft as it's feeding ground.

Lynch, May, Swallow, Martin, Hall, Brodie, Scrimshaw, Fiorini

Get 10-12 picks inside 30 and build again. **** yeah!!! Go hack campaigners.
Ill take Martin and Lynch thanks :)

Stringer Daniher Martin
Fantasia Lynch Tippa

:D

That's the worst idea ive ever read

Miles should have gone last year, wasted a year (although probs worth it for a shot at a premiership medal)

Assuming he's uncontracted again nobody is going to give anything up for him, he will either go as a delisted free agent or a nothing 4th rounder

Richmond would help facilitate getting him to the team he wanted to get to, Swap of late picks just to get him to his preferred club

Gold Coast / Carlton / Essendon would be mad not to consider him
