For a bloke that averages 21 touches?

Dont forget Saints have backed themselves into a corner with only one pick this year

Bigfooty 101. Suggest a trade for a player and then spend the next few weeks arguing how shit he is. ;)

Would anyone from WCE do Bolton and 4th round for the 2nd round pick you got from Gold Coast?

The pick that is currently pick 20 I think? No.

Wouldnt do it for our second rounder (currently 35) either.

We don’t need small forwards anyway. We have a few and have Charlie Cameron’s younger brother in our academy that we will grab this year.

We need mids. Maybe a HBF as well.

What's Jono Patton worth? GWS have salary cap issues and need to dump some contracts. Wonder if they'd offload the General cheap considering his injury issues?
Cant see it.
We dont have a reducing list anymore, and that drove the Ahern deal.

Crows would be happy to take Shiel off their hands. I'd do a 2019/1 for him

You do have a salary cap problem though?
We have a tight cap no doubt, doesn't mean trading out Patton is the answer. Right now I dont think it would be possible to give even a notional trade value. Completely dependent on medical reports and his intention I would have thought. Unless he were to ask to go to a club that wanted him, and I think that's very unlikely, it wont happen.

Freo is aparrently looking at pick 1 and Tim Kelly. The reality is that they don’t have enough assets to bring in both.

Pick 1 for Cerra and 6 has been mentioned, but I think it slightly favors us. Depends on the perceived difference of the draftees.

Then Freo doesn’t have many options. They don’t have another pick for three rounds. More assets? Or trade away the newly acquitted pick 1?

Tim Kelly is valued somewhere in the broad 11-24 bracket, which means a direct swap isn’t fair. If Geelong trade their first and Kelly, maybe a deal could get struck but that would result in:
6 and Cerra for Kelly and 10-15.

Is it worth it? If Geelong has the higher end of the draft yes. It would be great to see he himsick players go home before they are wasted

Aren’t they both Western Australian anyway? And would the Hawks do that considering they just got Impey and Irving Mosquito NGA sa well as possible Ian Hill in the draft?

Absolute overvaluation

He’s worth more to the Giants than other teams

For the love of God man use the multi-quote.

No way. Tom Mitchell cost only one first round pick.
No way anyone would let a contracted Gresham walk out for less than two first rounders.
The kid is 20 years old, kicked over 60 goals the past two seasons as a small forward, has started to transition into the midfield and already dominated games, has one of the best highlight reels for an under 22 player. The kid is an absolute star.

It doesn't matter what Tom Mitchell went for. Saints wouldn't let Gresham go for cheap.

As well they shouldn’t as he’s going to be a elite. He’s easily the best small forward in the AFL that’s under 23. But two first round picks though? That’s overs. In my opinion he’s worth a top 10 pick.

The Hawks are going to turn down two proven players because they have an NGA kid who might reach the level Brad and Stephen are at, and/or because they might get a similar player with their first pick, who again might reach the level Brad and Stephen are at?

I see what you mean, but if they bring both Hills, I think it won’t be what’s best for them right now. They aren’t going to win a premiership with this list and if they bring in older players they will backtrack. I probably didn’t explain that well.
2 Young > 2 old

I reckon we could do with another back up ruck aswell
