Synthetics are durable and don't absorb as much moisture. It pulls it away from the skin and therefore limits chafing. Refels UV rays and therefore better in the Australian sun. It is stronger and less likely to tear which is obviously suited for contact sports.
Member polos are awesome for renovating, gardening etc. And the sauce from the Bunnings sausage sizzle just wipes right off.

I only wear mine to business meetings, weddings, and conferences. The thought on getting plaster on North merch terrifies me.

I always figured you were a "one-piece" man.

I just think they didn't go over the top and it worked sometimes (dark blue and orange actually look good together). It stayed away from the proper jumpers so win win. Looks a lot better than mixing blues imo.
Black and Silver look really good together. Just look and all the dicks wearing Oakland Raiders tops and hats with out having any idea were Oakland is or how shit the team is.

We should just scrap all Blue merch and go Black and Silver.

Here's an idea pretty much every big clubs in the world do:

They just embrace a simple flat colour scheme.

How about just majority royal blue with white logo and a touch of trim somehwere? Instead of aqua, orange etc.

Groundbreaking I know.

Our apparel designs have been shit for years and part of the reason I never buy it.

Real Madrid's training top, less is more in most cases.:

I agree. 100%. It's why I suggested Chelsea's earlier in the thread. I don't like the team but I love how they went back to a simple approach. It's effective and a lot better than writing everywhere and mixed colours.

Yes, the colours don't not go together. I can see why some might like the combination, in terms of contrasting colours. In fact, now that I come to think of it, it was probably a key reason for following North to begin with. As the '75 GF was beamed in on our Sony Trinitron...

Unlike Hawthorn's questionable colour scheme, it was great to see the vivid royal blue and white contrasting so brilliantly against the decor of my parents' home...

I'd like to say the cheese fondues made up for it, but that'd be a lie.
