He’s only 21 & probably sees campaigners like Boyd & Hogan getting massive deals as young key forwards.

He had a really good finals series last year, prob been drinking his own bath water like all his teammates & has overestimated his value.
He's played a few decent games at AFL but been missing more often than not. 650k... He's dreeeeaaaamin'. Unless it's just posturing for a better deal with the Dees.

Parish has been so underwhelming since being drafted. He’s not a massive accumulator, he’s not a contested beast & he isn’t damaging. Very vanilla. For what he would cost, pass!
Agree very bland less inside version of lachie neale

What about a ruck?

He looked like with Mc Donald along side, that he's be a 70 goal a year KPF. Along with Gawn and Mc Donald, he's dropped off unbelievably.

Melksham and Salem look like the only two players capable of handling the ball cleanly for the Dees.
Petracca just isn’t up to it as far as I’m concerned. Forget his subpar fitness and seeming lack of motivation, he’s just so unclean. He’s a three touch player, can’t remember seeing him not fumble.

He fits in at the Dees then. It looked like they greased the ball when it was in Melbourne's hands.

Yep old Max is down and he's their barometer IMO.

Needs a fresh start and change of scenery IMO at Moorabbin.

I seriously wouldn't bother. Marshall is literally looking like the new ideal ruckman with around the ground ability and adequate rucking. I would rather Coniglio, Jones etc to win the ball.

Yeah, it's everywhere, apparently set his own price and isn't even playing like a $200,000 player right now.
Weideman was the highest picked forward in his draft year. McKay, Curnow, Hipwood and Himmelberg all were picked after him, and they’re all better than him.

He was really good late last year and being behind Hogan he was playing VFL for ages. He should be good again but all you have mentioned are playing very good footy right now.

I honestly think some boys from other clubs have missed their big shot at huge dollars with the Saints.
Should have jumped on board last couple of years.
Bad luck.
Think your right - we have to secure our own guys first and then weigh up who we need - however the club now have everything in place to secure some players but they will not be going overboard to get anyone unless its a Kelly or Coniglio.

now we are talking. we need to use our good start and optimism to nail some targets. we should be able to wrap up tomlinson no worries given his management were keen a couple years back. which would mean we don't have to worry so much about browns age, nor carlisles back. giants will be prioritising their mids too. we'll get him i think.

martin i'm not sold on. i think long and parker are going well. i don't know where we see martin playing? would he force out someone like kent? is he a free agent?

i think we need a genuine inside mid. what can we pry out. a fit luke parker would be amazing. wines would be my wish.

we need to be mindful of not bringing in too much change.
