You can add Trent Bianco to the list of players I’d be happy with at Brisbane.

Lachlan Ash
Hayden Young
Sam Flanders
Caleb Serong
Trent Bianco
Not keen on Sharp?

Watched the neafl GWS v Gold Coast and a guy called James Peatling impressed , only 19 and playing in the nab league , what’s the story with him
From what I’ve seen of him he is a bit too outside and his kicking can be rushed at times, also doesn’t earn fans when he likes ducking for free kicks, averaging 5 free kicks a game I believe ;)

The new Rhys Matheson

Haven't seen him and don't know anything about him. Will have to wait for the U18 Champs.
Played in the champs last year and made the AA team and played for the academy on the weekend

Quick and skilful wingman/half back

Had a go at predicting the Vic Country and Vic Metro squads, not too hard when a bulk of the teams need to include the academy players.

God there is some draft gold at Sandy we are smashing the lions might win by 200.

Yorke is so raw I really hope a team picks him up..

What did the score end up P400? Anyone at all look good from our academy?

Tick under 1O0 they fought hard..

Only two I liked martyn. And Noah Cumberland who showed real dash. For some reason you guys kept switching play and turning it over was ugly!
Crozieroff hf was ok to for a under ager.

Cumberland before being injured was the lions best. Sandringham were unbelievable in the first half

Scary to think none of them look like getting drafted atm too they played today. Perkins will be a star and will get go top 20 in 2020 draft same with Clarke at the rangers.

Butler's game was outstanding he is building nicely.. . He and yorke were the two I took out of the game as draft chances

Any information about the NAB Under 17's team vs New Zealand game? Should be over by now.

Edit, just found this

Though it would be great to see more stats than that.

Better stack those 2020 draft Points 👍🤣

It is completely ridiculous that it has been something like 21 hours since the U17 Australia and New Zealand game ended and other than the score we have been given no information about the game. I mean is the AFL professional or not?
Twomey didn’t give his summary on the academy game against Casey either which isn’t usually the case.

Too busy talking about his shit taste in music???

Alex Davies is a gun . Gold Coast academyreally struggled without him yesterday and had to move their best forward into the midfield as it wasn’t coming down

There seems to be a story here but I can't read it as it is behind a paywall

Some of Australia’s best up-and-coming talent strutted their stuff at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
The Australian under-17s were a class above the New Zealand Falcons as fans got an early preview of the 2020 AFL Draft class.
Captain Will Phillips (Oakleigh Chargers/Beverley Hills) was outstanding through the midfield, while Elijah Hollands (Murray Bushrangers/Wodonga Bulldogs) kicked three goals in the 17.20 (122) to 7.3 (45) win.

The team featured several famous names with father-son prospects Luke Edwards (Adelaide) and Taj Schofield (Port Adelaide) and Henry Walsh (brother of Carlton’s No. 1 pick Sam) putting their best foot forward.
Coach Luke Power was impressed with local talents Phillips, Campbell Edwardes (Calder Cannons/Keilor), Nik Cox (Northern Knights/Montmorency) and Connor Downie (Eastern Ranges/Vermont).
“Will was terrific and captain for the game. He played midfield for most of it and kicked a couple of goals,” he said.

“He won a lot of the footy and it’s important for guys like him to be hard around the contest because the New Zealand boys are obviously grown men.
“Nik is a developing tall with good size and a really good runner. It was good to see him defend really well and beat his man but I really liked the way he looked to run off and create some attack for us.
“Campbell was pretty good. Played a bit of forward and on the wing for a little bit. He worked hard.
“Connor is explosive and kicks the ball really well on his left foot.
“He’s come up late, come on to our radar recently. We hadn’t heard of him until the start of the year and he’s doing some really nice things with Eastern.”
Power said the match was a chance for the players to challenge themselves as they continue to develop ahead of next season.
“They need to be realistic that this year is a development year for them and next year is the important year,” he said.
“We need to manage them to make sure they’re coming into next year ready to perform.”
