Do you lose a draft pick for each player you prelist. Ie let’s say gc has picks 1 ,3 , 19, 56, 78 and 95. Do you lose the bottom three picks when you prelist 3 players.

Nope you lose nothing it’s a free hit. So lower ranked pics are worthless to the suns whilst we have the assistance package in play

The only reason I can think of that we're tossing these useless picks to Adelaide for him is we're targeting someone in the PSD so had to get his deal done?

Yep hence the ammo for trading. We could sell 15 & 20 for Crouch with no real loss

Could be to give you guys more leverage in the Martin trade proceeds. Now there's nothing in the way from you guys immediately redrafting him if Carlton won't come to play (unless I'm missing another deal that hasn't gone down).

Hell no take 15 & 20 to the draft and draft 4 kids and pre list Budarick. Rosas or Ace take the risk they won’t be picked up and rookie list them

Greenwood, 27, who played in the Crows 2017 Grand Final side said he was thrilled to be joining the SUNS.


“I’m very excited to be here, it’s been a bit of a process, but to finally be here and be part of the Gold Coast football club, is very exciting,” Greenwood said.

“It’s a young, exciting and enthusiastic group and I’m just looking forward to slotting in and playing my role as part of it.


Greenwood said he was looking forward to helping shape the future of the club.

“Everyone I’ve spoken to within the four walls is really confident in the direction the club is heading.


“To be a part of that, something bigger than just myself as a player and to be able to help out where I can with the development of some of the younger guys, was a huge selling point for me.”


General Manager – List & Strategy Craig Cameron said the SUNS were thrilled to secure Greenwood.


"Hugh is another mature big bodied midfielder that will add to our young group. He’s also excited about the opportunity to come to our club and help drive us forward,” Cameron said.


“In line with our strategy we we’re keen to target mature players who will complement our young group and are committed to help drive our club forward, Hugh definitely fits that criteria.”
