I use this as my draft reference, and to be honest of a bid came before 10 I would consider passing.

Most mock drafts I've seen have Henry ranked between 13-20. Obviously there's not guarantee a rival club doesn't talk themselves into Henry but I would be really surprised if we needed much more than 22 in terms of matching a bid.

Worst case scenario we hold 7 & 10 (from St Kilda with extras) we are still able to get 3 top 20 picks.

I just can't see them giving up their first rounder. They know it will be a top 10 pick, and likely quite a bit better. We'll have to give them 22 for them to consider it.

But we'd probably be willing to give our future 2nd if they did. If they improve (with new players) and we get worse (losing players) then the difference between their 2020 1st and our 2020 2nd won't be as much. To get the deal done I think they have to.

I would hope Bell would laugh them out of the room if they are putting that shit on the table.
I would hope he is out of there in less than 3 minutes.

Melbourne wanted to move pick 3 but in the end has had to buy back in to the top 10. Pick 8 can be used on small forward Cody Weightman, who has drawn Jamie Elliott comparisons. Josh Mahoney said last week Dees would hit the draft to find small forwards.
Yeah I was looking at that earlier. Cal has Cody at 12 and Liam at 15. Hopefully, that order stays the same way.
