The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

how many times do these idiots have to be told?
Free agency was not brought in to fix some competition inequality. It was totally to get around potential restraint of trade issues the aflpa was campaigning about.
it was to allow players to move to the club of their choice. Specifically from a shit club to one with a better chance of success.
it has worked beautifully for some, like Lynch. But it also works just as well for the journeyman type player who can get a good earn in the back half of their career by switching to a club paying overs.
it was never intended to be an equalisation tool, unless of course a shit club paid overs for a star. Ablett/GCoast for example.

Like Ellis, leaving to the Gold Coast for $500-600K per year.

or Conca or Miles or Lloyd or Butler.

Happy to forget our losses cos they don’t hurt us. Yet the three who left last year had good AFL seasons at their new clubs. And Butler and Ellis look the same given their first up performance in the preseason cup.

Wasn't that "Judge Gerard"? Ablett then went on a belting spree & not a peep out of that moron...
I was ****ing fuming a out that and couldn't understand how all other clubs weren't. In the second one he literally runs off his line to jump and elbow the bloke. He doesn't appear to be taking the whole aging thing with any type of grace and probably can't handle that he is starting to slow down.

He couldn't resist a back hander.

In perhaps the truest testament to sporting success, what was once a likeable, endearing, long-suffering supporter base has become a bloated, arrogant, entitled horde the likes of which even Collingwood and West Coast would envy.

Richmond copied Hawthorn. Dimma is a Clarko disciple. Blah blah blah.

Actually, Richmond became a serious contender when Dimma stopped trying to copy Hawthorn and did it his way.

Hawthorn have not dipped deeply back into the draft. Richmond never stopped drafting and developing youth. The article even mentions that the club has the 11th oldest (8th youngest) list. In an 18-team competition, that's an age spread that Hawthorn never had in their prime.

Or this one as well...

....In terms of talent, they’ll probably never be held in the regard of those almighty Lions or Cats sides...
