It has zero to do with gender, I hold ALL career Politicians in low regard and that's what both Pyne and Ellis were basically.
Political staffer [generally a young Labor or Liberal member prior] straight into a safe seat is half the reason our Political system is so f’ed up currently and IMO certainly not the credentials I'd prefer for Chairperson of an AFL club, but each to their own. And btw I detest Pyne with a passion.

Walked out stunned how incompetent the board was and no wonder the business has gone from success to almost administration during that time.
Couldn't make a simple no brain decision.
Once their there they're had to get rid off.

Would not mind Howard at all, however he’s contracted which means we’d have to pay overs as well as port wanting us to pay overs any way.

Howard's a 50/50 if port are happy to let him go then it's not because he's going to be good but he's a big guy and he could take longer to develop they may be wrong in their assessment

And btw like Christopher Pyne Kate Ellis up until leaving Parliament was basically a "career" Politician the same as Pyne, i.e. Political staffer before being shoehorned into a safe seat. I rate them both at the same level [not very highly] and certainly not the kind of people I'd want as Chairperson of an AFL club with that type of backgrounds.

The Adelaide Seat was not safe. Just check your facts first.
