But that’s exactly what they’ve said. It’s not a black and white rule, you can request exemption. The rule is in place to stop a club completely screwing up by trading out too many picks and stuffing their future. If they’re well run and aren’t shooting themselves in the foot, then the AFL will allow it.

Not convinced although wouldn’t be surprised. It could be that they’re waiting to see what else happens. If it’s a choice between him and an early 3rd we might have hope. Him and 105 and all is lost.
