So where is goldy playing. I don’t get this back up thing. He isn’t coming to us to back up. How can the saints sell that. If we stupidly got him he is our ruck. Simple
500k to play at sandy just in case we get an injury. That’s no good for us or him. There are clubs who need a first ruck. I don’t think we are one of them. Why couldn't he come as a back up? If North want to move on from him and he doesn't have a list spot there, how many clubs have a spot for him as number 1 ruck, and how many would even be in the market and want him as a back up? No disrespect to Goldy, he's playing reasonable footy, but not too many clubs would be looking to move on from their current No 1 ruck for a 31 year old.
Thats not to say there isn't someone, but we'd be stupid not to watch the situation in case only 1 or 2 clubs show interest and we can add him to the list for 2 years as a back up to Marshall. Yes he's 31, but for a couple of years he'd help bridge the gap util we find another backup because I imagine we're bout ready to move on from Billy and Lew.

That’s a figure I would think is reasonable. North for a start. That’s another reason I don’t get it. We certainly dont need a first ruckwho's paying him $500k? Who needs a 31 year old first ruck?

Personally think he’ll be part of a trade to get another player over here. First round +Probably gettable to be honest. On current output probably worth pick 35, on potential pick 15, so somewhere in between that (pick 25) & I wouldn’t be surprised if the club let him go. I’d prefer to keep him.
North won't want to lose him without a decent replacement. He won't want to leave to play second fiddle, he knows North need him.
Hopefully Langdon + their first roundPersonally think he’ll be part of a trade to get another player over here. First round +

Well HELLO Mikka!!Personally think he’ll be part of a trade to get another player over here. First round +

We’d want to sign Carlisle and Billings relatively soon.. otherwise the speculation will soon turn into panic.
Maybe you’re right. But surely constantly being in and out of the team after a single game is not the right way. Could understand if it were over a 3–5 week block.Like jack Steven early on. Or paddy who was played at just about every opportunity. We did it with dunstan. Hasn’t really helped him. There is no tight way.
Surely the head coach makes the decisions on positional changes though? There has to be some over riding decision maker, otherwise you’d end up with inertia, as assistant coaches squabbled about players. Unless that’s the explanation...I think you are overrating what coaches do. If the problem for the run on is the midfield then it’s the midfield coach to fix. Same with the forward line. That’s rats baby. Richo does the all round coaching but not certain areas. That’s why they break up into areas at breaks these days. They spend more time with their area coach than the main man. Even local clubs do that now. Get out and hear local coaches. The main coach speaks for about 2 minutes. The line coach speaks for about 5.

If Mikka's female alter ego is involved in the tradeWhich member of the x men are we getting?
Exactly of course he does! He's the head coach for a reason and that is to make all the big calls right through from positional changesSurely the head coach makes the decisions on positional changes though? Geelong have done that with constable lately. See you think a block is good. Many do but after a poor game or two people forget the block and have the players in the gun. I’m not sure there is any proof in a block anyway. Not sure jack was getting a block. You can see from Clark body shape he isn’t really ready for afl footy certainly not the bash and crash of the midfield. We obviously want to play him there and I reckon next year he has a chance of playing many games there.Maybe you’re right. I agree. Coffield just doesn’t look like he wants it. He is not fond of physical contact and doesn’t work hard enough around the ground to be that outside. Unless there is significant change in these area’s he will be a bust. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is traded.Yeah, pretty confident that if his fitness base gets better he'll make it. I'm less confident in Coffield, he looks like he's coasting.
If he traded now they get pick 30. Of course he stays at the moment. What happens long term well who knows. Agree with you on his faults though.I agree. Coffield just doesn’t look like he wants it. There’s only one I’d go to see and that’s GambitWhich member of the x men are we getting?
