Also I would take Ryder in a heartbeat if he came cheap enough. Marshall in the ruck, Ryder at CHF and then play both on the park at once. Marshall takes all the contests back of centre, Ryder everything forward.

Ryder wants to play ruck.
That's one of the reasons he wants to move. He's not good as a forward and he knows it.

If he wants to come back to Melbourne, the obvious choice would be Essendon but no chance he goes back to the injectors.
Probably the Dogs if he needs to be a full time ruck otherwise he will have to play second fiddle to Marshall for us.

It's difficult with English. He has so much promise but still pretty small and gets smashed every single week. The support from a bigger, physical ruckman could help him until he gets more size on him. Ryder will be 32 by rd1 next season, so one or at the most 2 years assisting English wouldn't be the worst thing for him. Plus the dogs are desperate for a tall target in their forward line, so having two rucks would help them in both areas of their game.

I guess the same could be said for Marshall, in terms of getting a mature ruckman in to help take some of the load, but the difference between Marshall and English is that Marshall is older and physically more mature so has the stature to take on the bigger guys and hold his own for a whole game.

Lloyd is best friends with someone that heads up our biggest coterie. Interesting.

Ps , sorry mate not having a go at you specifically but this is why we are so crap , a fringe player at best and we think its possible he could be a gun like Walters , we need to stop overrating our players

Also quick to write off players, he's played 2 games. He's been scoring regularly at VFL level in a role that is very hard to do at the lower levels. It would be worth trying him mid or wing at VFL level. We used a pick on him, might as well try to get something from him. He's not likely to make it as a small forward with the others in front of him. We need creativity not Richo style writing off players because of a lack of vision. Clever clubs make the most of their assets, we seem to have no vision or ability to use what we have.

That’s good, we definitely need more tall backs. Once we convert Maxie King into a CHB and send Marshall back to defence full time, we’ll only have about 14. Definitely need more.

Cam Mc Carthy can't get a game with Hogan at the Dockers. I'd see how cheap we could get him. His best is very good and still young.

I don't think he'll be Walters in his wildest dreams but it's not a bad idea to try him as a mid or wing. Even if he's just better than what we have already it would be handy.

Don't they just get their brother or cousin to set up in their name. Racing has never been very good at giving a shit about corruption or cheating.

He needs to get 50% fitter to play that high. Lets be honest, he struggles to run out 70% game time as a fwd pocket
