So this might look familiar but it's actually a new spreadsheet, built to hopefully make it easier to update during the draft.

Going to do the best I can, hopefully it doesn't break. 🤞🤞🤞

I only just realised you'd embedded a live pick spreadsheet Lore. I wish I'd realised last night. Fox Footy has a strange obsession with only showing the next few picks.

Thanks for all of your work this past month in particular 👏

Yep, great work Lore - spreadsheet was essentially live too. Made a painful drawn out telecast bearable.

Amazing job by Ned Guy, 5 players brought in with potential and most importantly on rookie contracts.

Perkins aint the one with knee issues... besides a F2nd will get us Bruhn in 2 years time anyway.

Im tipping two years at the Bombers, and Perkins will be asking for a trade, even interstate!!

Likewise. Wanted him or Spicer. At least I got one of my wishes.
Yeah a few Bulldog fans were hoping Phoenix Spicer slid, if only because of his name.
(We actually really do need a crumbing defensive forward though)

He averages around 17 disposals, has played a lot of wing/midfield and tackles like a maniac, so I can see him in the half-forward role for a long while to come. Going to be tricky finding the right balance with the amount of small/medium forwards next year with Stephenson, Ford, Garner, Ziebell, Zurhaar, Atu, Mahoney and Taylor. Even Thomas will be forward for long stints.

You’ve both been super critical of everything Collingwood has done tonight. Luckily this is all pretty subjective at the moment, but it helps if you open the other eye too.

Surprised people don’t think it’s a good night when a club has landed Oliver Henry, Finlay Macrae, Reef McInnes and Caleb Poulter. 3 of which were a chance of going top 10.
3/4 of the draft they more then likely said could be in the top ten, so I wouldn't play that card.

Not sure but I think we dont rate key forwards, unlike a lot of clubs. I believe we chased Tom Lynch and possibly Jeremy Cameron, but nothing.

Up to Cox, Mihoceck and our smalls for the short term.

You forgot Kelly

It gets worse when you think of what they gave up to get all of those players in the first place:

OUT: Pick 7 (2015), Pick 58 (2015), Pick 7 (2016), Pick 6 (2018), Pick 77 (2018), 2021 Future 1st (8-14)
IN: Pick 17, Pick 23, Pick 30, Pick 31 + Future 'scrap' points

No revising that - but they certainly did well with what they had. If you were to look at it in a holistic sense, however, it's been an absolute trainwreck of wasted high end picks over a 5-6 year period.

And are your happy with a best 22 with around 8-10 players 30plus next year?
Is that a huge tick for your recruiters?

From the same GF point in 2011, we’ve each made one GF, but our list profile going fwd looks much healthier.

Collingwood killed it last night. Couldn’t have gone better.

And I rate that trade by Richmond (for geelong’s future first) as top work by the tiges.

The Geelong trade is is interesting but probably not as good as we all think since Geelong is almost certainly going to be finishing top 2 next year, so at best Richmond are getting a pick in the mid teens.
