I’m sure he has had discussions with Brandon Ellis and he has probably spoken about how positive the experience at the Suns has been and encourages him to come up North

Will Setterfield (Pick 5 in same draft) and basically same mould as Brodie went for;

GWS: Setterfield & 4th Rounder
for
CARL: 3rd rounder & Future 2nd Rounder.

Something like that is fair

Ive heard that rumour, but clearly a rumour at the moment. Though you'll have plenty of people not complaining about Phillips. He kinda has lost his wing position to Daicos. And Phillips aint a forward but they have stuck him there.

Mihochek would hurt, but we're on the lookout for another forward..

Stevo won't be going anywhere. They'll back him in to have a better 2021 year.

I'm already dreaming of when Nick gets drafted. They have always said he was more talented. And given what Josh has shown this year... wow.. I can't wait. Crazy thing too. He misses out on the 2020 draft by 3 days lol

Yeah Phillips. Great runner, and always wins the time trials. Good endurance. But just one of these things, someone goes past you for your position. Rumour was, we tried to trade him to Geelong last year. But with 2 years on his contract, he said no. But with only 1 year left, if they say they can't guarantee him a contract beyond 2021, and someone offers a better one... like what happened with Aish, you'd be stupid not to take it.
His brother plays for St Kilda, so I do wonder whether he would want to leave Melb, but. sometimes, you do what you have to do.

What i've read on here is Longmuir has been an admirer to some of the pies fringe players so i guess he can promise them more game time.

Mihocek wouldn't really be one of their priorities but i guess they would be happy with anyone coming. Freo are a bit like us, not much success and harder to attract talent over West Coast. They have recently recruited the likes of Wilson, Matera, Acres, Aish, Hamling and the biggest name Hogan. Which isn't that good compared to Eagles Kelly, Redden, Petrie & S.Mitchell

At least Nick is a lock to Collingwood. I've had a Bulldogs mate chew my ear off for the last year about Ugle-Hagan. I guess its the same for us about Alex Davies.

Oh dear. Yeah JUH is meant to be very good. Pies get Reef McInnes in the same draft this year. But Dogs get it good one of the top picks for basically nothing.. well, not nothing they'll have to use up a lot of points to match it.
Nick, will need to be disinfected after he supports carlton.. what father lets their kids choose their own team. That just does not happen when I grew up. You have 0 choice Haha.
But that will change once he gets drafted. God knows what he was ever thinking. Good thing he is in the FS academy and plays in the NGA. I did worry for a week whether he would reject the FS nomination, but then that was stupid. You'd rather go to a club you grew up in than take a punt on the lottery that's the draft. Could end up at somewhere like Freo lol

Nah , longmuir want his type of players . I heard a bit of podcast , he knew what type of players he want in his game plan , whether through draft or trade in . Dew problem is he never stamp his mark , if he think Jez McLennan not worth the upgrade he should stop the upgrade from Cameron . After two year jez had not play a single AFL games and extend his contract for another two years like Brodie and Wright .

We paid something like a third rounder for Hugh Greenwood, right? And Hugh had already demonstrated an ability to play at the level consistently.

Unfortunately Brodie has lost all of his currency. Though I don't know why he'd want to go to the Bombers.

Kids these days. Need to learn you are born into a certain club whether you like it or not lol There is no choosing. What fun is that. But I saw him play in the NGA game before the pies v essendon game late last year. The two academies played one another, and boy was he exciting.He is a bit of a myth right now, apart from school footy (where he played with Rowell and Anderson) and that one NGA game, nobody has seen him play. Was meant to play for Oakleigh this year.. but covid strikes. So next year I'll be trying to watch as much as I can.

Nope. That was this years U18, yeah? I watched parts of that for Reef. He would have been classified as U16 I guess then. Turned 17 in January (18 in this coming January). He won't have any school footy, given he graduates in December, so next year... Nab League? the championships, or what they are going to do next year. They're aligning the clubs with U18? Could he possibly play in the VFL?
