Yep, my thoughts exactly. Take him if Campbell, JUH, Hollands & McDonald are gone; and before Thilthorpe and Phillips. Could be our next McGovern (WC one). Think he’d be an excellent choice.

I like Thilthorpe, more than happy to take him if available.

Big tall kid that will be tough to match in the air once he fills out, strong below his knees for his height as well.

Could be a key forward who can compete well in the ruck.

Yep, should turn into a good player, and is top 10 quality. I’m thinking he’s going to be what everyone hoped 2MP would be, but I don’t see Kings-like quality (and I watch a few of his SANFL games being in Adelaide). Hence I’d rather DGB, who IMO reads it better in the air.

We've got Adelaide next week and Gold Coast in the final round - those are winnable.

In comparison, Sydney and North Melbourne have a tougher draw with less 'winnable' games, however, who really know with this season.

Swans are a better side than is right now, and may upset someone.
North are under immense pressure to get a win.

Oh yeah i unfortunately don't see anyone of that calibre unfortunately but i think addressing our key forwards and future proofing ruck is a bigger area of need. Unless they feel DGB has a significantly higher ceiling i think he is a pretty good bet for us.

I think he will be slower to develop than uh and McDonald. It will be a few years before the team that selects him knows exactly what he is I suspect. I find it really hard to judge him. Could end up been a gun forward/ruckman or an ok ruckman who plays a bit forward. Is he hale? Is he Jenkins? Really not sure on him.

Each club has a bye during the season
17 games and 1 bye = 18 rounds

I think we need a lot, and not just mids. There’s a reason BB is playing in KPB. If we somehow nabbed Williams, then the need for an explosive mid with our first would (ever so slightly) diminish.

Getting a top 10 pick isn’t easy. Clubs seem to rate them higher than ever. Such a move will likely cost us our first next year (which is very risky if we don’t improve).

If we have pick 3 I'd want us to bid on JUH if available.

So makes sense to make the trade, give them extra points.the way I'd do would be on draft night.

Make the trade for there 1st do the bid then trade them Norths 2nd in a separate deal.
