That was the right choice at the time, Collingwood would have made the same choice. Pendlebury was a bit of a reach at 5.the same guy who picked Xavier Ellisat 3 over Scott PendleburyPLAYERCARDSTARTXavier Ellis

Picks 3 to 7 were Ellis, J. Kennedy, Pendles, Dowler and Ryder. That was the right choice at the time, Collingwood would have made the same choice. Pendlebury was a bit of a reach at 5.

N. Jones, S. Higgins and hurn went 11-13 also.
Luckily we got birch and Bailey.
05 was a shocker for us. Luckily we had 04 or we would have been stuck at the bottom of the ladder.

22 was muston yeah? Crazy to think how much talent we could have hadwe made every bad decision that was possible in that draft(except Birchall at 14, our 3rd pick, we had 5 in the top 22 which is insane and so many bad decisions), the exact opposite of 2004
Muston couldn't kick. Average player.22 was muston yeah? Crazy to think how much talent we could have had
Salary cap!Imagine taking Pendlebury and Ryder instead of Ellis and Dowler -
Any draft you get 6 premiership medals turned out ok. Plus 2 more in the pre season draft and 1 in the rookie draft.we made every bad decision that was possible in that draft(except Birchall at 14, our 3rd pick, we had 5 in the top 22 which is insane and so many bad decisions), the exact opposite of 2004
Butterfly effect says we don’t get Cyril so um yeah I’ll take all the blown picks which led to the way things played outImagine taking Pendlebury and Ryder instead of Ellis and Dowler -
Bucky has no clue these days
Best line about the HS is "Is it true or did you read it in the Herald Sun?"I bought crappy $1 coffee from Caltex today... still money that's better spent then buying the HS it appears.
Phillips with his play reminds me of danger field for some reason, just shorter
Watching his highlight real again Phillips seems to be decent off both feet and his pace seems to be top notch. I can see him being a real point of difference for us next year were we to grab him and I'm all for it. If we also pick up someone like Poulter with our second I'd be really excited; Finn, Phillips, Poulter, Downie and Day would be a great young mid core to have coming through together.

No Downie.
I noticed that and thought I must have read it wrong. I doubt he's seen much, if any of the junior footy he would normally be watching given what's happened this year. Also feel like he must watch less than he used to anyway.
They can only keep rolling him out so long.
