Excellent changes. Was really hoping we'd be able to open up some spots to draft either some targeted mature-agers or kids with big upside, so this gives us the wriggle room to do so. Expect a DFA to be in the mix too.
To those lamenting the delisting of Macreadie as spelling the end of our KPD depth, how was he actually providing any depth when he was constantly injured? I also would have had zero confidence in him playing on a power forward if called upon either. He was not depth. thylacine60

Harrison seems like a heck of a nice young guy, but I don't know where the mystical rating of him comes from. Anyone of a dozen DFAs could fill the break glass in case of emergency KPD role just as adequately.
And we're keeping him on the rookie list. Not sure what the problem is?

That is the point. And naturally we can assume that is what clubs do or try to do.
I always was impressed with how Ferguson handled Man United. Always turning the squad over. It was ruthless but garnered a long period of success.

Agreed. Using Gov as a defender is what youd maybe do if one of them went down in a match. Maybe.
Marchbank, i like him but I see him more as a tall flanker, 3rd tall. Im not sure if hes one who can be a true part of an AFL spine.

Now theres an interesting thought. With him Newman would be bordering on bench/in the 2s.

Macreadie certainly had some AFL attributes but unfortunately he is missing one of the most underated and important attributes - availability

They are the only Australian organisation to own clear their own stadium that they used as an asset to borrow down on. I'd suggest that was a relatively wise investment.
They China thing is mostly club based.
Male footy is a fairly patriarchal way to describe the AFL's core business.

He was fighting with the * coaches to play forward. Not sure where he fits down back unless he has grown 10 to 20 cm since he left.
