They would be recruited as depth players so don't need to be world beaters otherwise we would trade for themSlim pickings indeed. McDonald might be the best of that list.

Would be nice to grab someone from the US college system ala Mason CoxYou got an eye on a Setanta 2.0?
10+ delistings again, wow. Most/all are justified, but gee huge numbers off the list year on year once more

If we were planning on delisting Macreadie and leaving the cupboard bare I would have been making a big play at B McKay in the trade period as I suggested earlier this year and striking before his form gets any better, also not sure why we didn’t show any interest in Corr as a free agent as well considering where we are now positioned if Weiters or Jones get injured. Is macreadie any better than any of these? (Include the fact macreadie is always injured)
However, I would go an 18 yr old kid if need be.

What a terrible shirt
If there's a decent DFA on the market, I'm not against us offering them a contract, however, we should limit the DFA's to one. We're starting to build a bit of depth now. We're not as desperate for these players as we once were.
Then take two in the draft and leave one list spot open. Invite a handful of undrafted prospects we had our eye on to train with us over the summer, then select the one we want.
Are mid season draft picks for 2021 selected as senior or rookie list players?
It is slim pickings... probably why they've found themselves delisted.Just went through the delisted players list and man it is slim pickings for KP defenders even as depth.

Think Macreadie suffers from the early crow calls that plenty of KPDs get in underage years. James Sellers, Brander, Sam Day, Macreadie and plenty of others were all talked up as early picks at some point...some still went early.PLAYERCARDSTART14Sam Day

Harrison seems a hell of a nice young guy, but has average skill, average in the air, and a passive disposition. We will have no trouble upgrading him.

Bang on here. Both boys were crystal when drafted that they'd prefer to play for different clubs. Not all brothers want to play with their bro, esp twins. Don't want us to get him just because he's Harry's little brother.could be wrong, but I can’t see us getting Harry’s bro as much as I’d love him. Twins live in each other’s shadows their entire junior years of life and it looks to me (as an outsider) that Harry was the more confident and outgoing of the pair (was also more highly rated as a footballer) and at North Ben finally gets to be his own man without Harry and I can’t see him wanting to be ‘Harry’s brother’ vs his own man at North. *disclaimer I’m married to a twin and am also the father of twins.
No issue with today’s delisting and saving some sheckles for Kennedy.
Question, despite committing to aRookie spot, can another team offer him a contract before our selection?
Watch Essendon take him.He would be able to sign for any other club as a DFA prior to the draft. He will enter the draft, where any club who wants him can pick him. There is an unwritten rule that clubs won't pick a player in the rookie draft who is going to be rookied by his club.
Could only have played in a flag at Geelong as Saints can’t win them... but I can’t find any players in the cats 07, 09, 11 premiership teams that played for us.What is the name of the left footed defender we had on the list about 10 years ago who went to Geelong and spent time at Saints? Might even have played in a flag at one of these sides?
