SuperCoach Rd 12 SC Talk - Trade Talk - Capt/VC - 2026 Fight MND Comp ,//, AFL Fantasy Rd 12 AFF Talk - AF Trades - Capt/VC
Oh, really? I couldn't tell.
It's not pointless. It's actually entirely relevant. Are you suggesting we trade him at all costs? For a second round pick? For what exactly?
We should be looking to bring in all our trade targets without having to sacrifice a best 22 player or a young developing player in order to do so.
Re: the draft. Once all is said and done we'll have a presence, but no - it doesn't have to be a strong one. We needed a strong one through the rebuild and we did, with 11 first round picks selected over those 5 years.
Now we move to the next phase where it's more important to add experience and quality, which we seem well on our way to doing.
That doesn't mean ignoring the draft - far from it - but the priority has changed. As it should and as we always knew it would.
I asked you what you think we'd get for him...which you still haven't answered.
Not once have I said he's irreplaceable.
You really think I'm saying no if a club comes in and offers a top 5 pick for him?
Plowman isn't a tall, he has shown himself to be a very capable defender on all sorts of forwards - tall, short, and everything in between.
I wonder what your response would have been had I told you months back that the minor premier and current preliminary finalist had a three tall defensive setup of 193cm, 191cm and 188cm.
I think you're nit-picking here because...you don't rate Plowman highly. See, I could have come to that conclusion eventually without you telling me.

Faster perhaps, but not more versatile. We are far more versatile with a backline of:
B: Docherty jones Newman
HB: Williamson weitering saad
Who?Titch .

I smell the Stench of Troll.Mate, i haven’t answered your question because, multiple posts later, you’re dissecting words for the sake of defending a player that you rate..
The conversation to be had was on proactively moving out assets that can be replaced to maintain a strong hand in both trade and draft, year after year.
We are far more versatile with a backline of:

HB: Williamson weitering saad
Marchbank, Williams, SPS, O’Brien
Kemp, JSOS, Stocker all have either been tried there or have the attributes to be tried there.
Regardless, I’m not continuing a conversation where both of our points are completely at odds with each other. I see him as tradeable and at the peak of his value on the market, you don’t.. move on.
The more I think about it the more I just want a ball-winning pig in the mould of Mitchell/Oliver. The "classy outside use" thing is kind of overrated, it doesn't really result in much in practice.Tom Mitchell .... if true, we are definitely aiming to land a quality mid. Interesting.

Check my history bro ....I’m the last bloke to troll..except maybe my own board from time to timesurely you Jest?![]()

I’m not sure we’re even faster by bringing in Newman for Plow.Faster perhaps, but not more versatile.
What are you going to do when you run into a WC forward line, in which you have to cover Kennedy, Darling, and one of Naitanui or Vardy? Who are you going to play on Jamie Elliot, or Gary Rowan, or Dustin Martin; three very different players, all of whom are excellent overhead or in one on one situations?
These are the questions you're going to have to answer to replace Plow in the 22. If you can answer them, you're right. If you can't, you're not.
It's getting tricky to have everyone in there, with Williams and Saad coming in. Williams on a wing, sure, but if Saad's got the other back flank are Willo and Plow the pockets? Where does this leave Doc and Newman?I’m not sure we’re even faster by bringing in Newman for Plow.
Get a few extra disposals per game, but that’s about it.
Absolutely !!So if people on here are so desperate for a ball winner such as Wines, would anyone consider Will Brodie?
Has a connection to the club and based on this latest summary, he could get done for a 4th rounder or thereabouts.
Regarding Will Brodie:
" Like Connor Blakely, will need to see where other inside midfielders fall before serious suitors come for him... The Suns will happily accommodate a cheap move for him elsewhere and would likely pay some of his contract to make it happen."

Don't want. Akin to the Swallow brothers, but even more likely to turn it over.Absolutely !!
adaptable inside mid....no.9 draft pick[realistic] he had a great 2019 A grade...then he was moved around by Suns to HF OR HB ..AND CEASED TO FLOURISH
Suns have too many high draft picks in their midfieldso we should help them out
Has pace and size ,good tank, clearance operator

I think you will find that they are public school boys , from APS (Associated Public Schools) system .No dickhead policies are over-rated... 'Dickhead' is such a subjective term. SOS was a dickhead himself picking private school boys. A club champion who was a terrible recruiter.
Better than nothing?Don't want. Akin to the Swallow brothers, but even more likely to turn it over.
I can certainly think of someone I want to subjectively refer to as a dickhead...No dickhead policies are over-rated... 'Dickhead' is such a subjective term. SOS was a dickhead himself picking private school boys. A club champion who was a terrible recruiter.
Hmmmm...I would play Saad on a wing
