So it is rumoured the WA Government is willing to offer $35m to the AFL to host the GF as they expect by mid-October to be able to have a full house.

It is reported that ticket prices will be $800- $1500 or so - do the numbers 60,000 x say average $600 = $36m.

Seems a no brainer.

I think there is one chance to possibly get them is when they become a FA and if that happens to coincide at the time if we are in a premiership window.

Those events not only seem impossible but a fantasy in 2020.

The non-Vic states need to work together. The AFL are stuffed GF wise. They can’t hold it in Melbourne.

They should demand that for any other state to host the GF, that ridiculous deal with the MCG needs to be torn up.

Watching the states whore themselves for a fake GF when they know for the next 50 years it will be held in Melbourne is disgusting.

Wigg would have made it if we hadn't totally stuffed him trying to make him a contested ball winning midfielder instead of what he was, an elite kicking accumulating half back flanker.

Same with English, he ain't a Ruckman's bootlace and should be being developed as a KPP, either forward or back.
